Kri Kri — Restaurant in England

Booked a takeaway for New Years Eve with them a week in advance. Told them the time I wanted the order and that we’d collect it early as I know they struggle with takeaway at weekends or busy times. When I came to confirm it we were simply told “full for takeaway”…so what’s the point of calling to confirm and thinking you had NYE sorted out.

At no point we’re we told that we needed to pre-order or we would have. The food may be good here but have been consistently let down by Kri Kri on takeaways.

Average food, evening memorable only due to disinterested, inattentive staff. Tried to crack a joke with waiter, aged 50+, and he banged carafe on table and said, in perfect English, that he didn't speak English and walked away. Other staff almost silent and not a smile in sight. After our meal we were left sitting until had to physically go and find someone to ask for the bill. Cue first smile from anyone that night - oh yes, it's tip time - oh no it wasn't! Be nice to your guests - that's why you're there. Don't like it, get another job. Kri Kri restaurant in Neston is an absolute gem! I had the pleasure of dining there recently and chose the Garidomakaronada – a beautifully prepared prawn pasta dish. It was perfectly cooked, with a rich and flavourful sauce that complemented the prawns wonderfully. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was superb.
