Terrible. I waited 20 minutes for a toastie, and whilst the rest of my group had their food bought out I was informed that the toastie I ordered was sold out, despite the fact that I had got it out of the fridge myself, and actually handed it to the woman taking my payment. When informed I would not be getting my food, they actually told me that my toastie had been given to somebody else, and then offered me the choice of another toastie which I did not want as I didnāt like the flavour and the whole rest of my group would have been done eating by then, so the meal was ruined anyway. I was offered a refund which was processed by a rude manager, who was on the phone whilst processing the refund, didnāt speak to me or apologise for the inconvenience and then stormed back off to the kitchen. I am shocked, disappointed and absolutely furious at this awful service. If you want to actually eat the food you ordered donāt bother coming here, as they will give it to someone else without...

But since I went vegan I have become so tired of baked potato and baked beans... Please wake up to vegan food! It's delicious and varied and I want a clear vegan (or allergen) steer on the menu, rather than a confused and awkward chat with a member of staff who doesn't have the information that I need to make a confident vegan choice.
I know M&S's core clientele is mature. I'm mature. But I bet I am not the only mature vegan.
I look forward to writing a 5 star review soon when M&S cafes catch up...

The girl at the counter clearly didn't care and actually told me it was her manager's issue not hers! The irony?
