Read more4.5 Really great burger joint and the only place I'd go for a hotdog in the area. The staff are great the music is great the food is great.
Best thing about the food is the topping system you don't ask them what to take off but instead what to put on and there is no additional cost based on number of toppings. They are generally better at balancing toppings than the the tower park branch for personal preference but tastes vary ofcourse. I love the complimentary peanuts 5 guys offer that being said if you are not a fan of peanuts and don't like lots of toppings on your burger it may be hard for you to see value for money at this establishment.
Alternatively for under a a tenner you can get a vary generous portion of vary tasty skin on fries a soda machine with dozens of flavour options and free refills and all the peanuts you can eat and won't leave the place...
Read moreWent to lunch with my daughter today and I was not impressed. I found the burger extremely greasy and overpriced at £10.65! Also the Softdrinks are expensive albeit unlimited refills. The ordering is confusing and no option to buy a meal deal, which is industry standard generally. One plus is the fries are tasty and one portion was enough for 2 people by far. Our server are also friendly and willing to help. I wouldn't recommend 5 guys though, given that it's just a burger joint with restaurant prices!
Additional: many thanks for the response from the management. Given you admitted you use no additional oil to cook the burgers, I can only deduce that the quality of the meat used is in itself quite fatty. You didn't address the costs, or try to justify the burger costing almost £11. I am assuming there is no reason apart from...
