Last night, we were delighted to attend 'Ma Kelly's Showboat' after seeing a post on social media earlier in the week, we gave them a call and reserved our free table, and then we looked forward to the show. We boarded the Tram from the centre of Blackpool (Tower station, in fact), and we got off at Cabin, which is located directly opposite 'Ma Kelly's Showboat', which made the start to the night perfect. I know that Ma Kelly's has a stigma attached to it across Blackpool, and from previous visitors, so I was slightly reserved going in, but I needn't be.. As we entered, we were greeted by the 'Showboat Showgirls', and a cheerful host, who directed us to our table, and asked if we'd been before, and explained the process (they still have table service 🎉, tap your lamp and make it red, and someone will serve you, winner!). Show started at 7.45pm (bang on, great management skills from the director), and I've got to say the show was incredible. First half ran for about an hour and 20 minutes, with a short interval, and they were back out. Show finished about 10.30pm, and then a disco. I found the show had a great mixture for all - as some cabaret shows you see are all very much one genre, and cater for one age bracket, but this was a huge mixture, and incredibly easy to watch. I felt that the show was easily worth £5 - £10 per person, as the standard of the acts, Andrew Geater, Helen O'Neill, and Reece Oliver were a high theatre standard. I'll definitely be returning, and I urge anyone who wants free entertainment - and the drinks are reasonably priced too. SUPPORT LIVE ENTERTAINMENT! You'd be a fool to miss this free show!!

Had a fantastic night with my boyfriend and his parents. The venue is stunning, drinks are reasonably priced (quite cheap considering the show is free) the staff were all extremely friendly and service was rapid and without faulter. The dancers were soo talented, the vocalist was mind blowing and the host was all the above with the addition of being hilarious. I don't mind being heckled, my bf and his parents are a tad shy 😂 the host was very playful with them and didn't take anything too far, it was all just great humour and extremely enjoyable. Everyone had a fantastic night. Can't wait to come back again. Thanks for a great night ❤️

Ma Kelly’s is an excellent night out with friends! Check to make sure they have acts on and book your table in advance to ensure you get a seat. The acts are ok and really make the night fly. Great bar staff and cold drinks. A great addition to a normal boring night out in the north shore when the night falls. The beer garden at the front is a wonderful place to sit during a sunny day to enjoy the sea breeze and a pint.

Came for the Xmas Extravaganza back in December before the "renovation" and it was a great so we thought we'd come on our next trip to Blackpool so...

Fast forward to February, booked via website for 17 February, specifically requested a booth for comfort reasons. Arrived approx 7pm, went to Sports Bar had a drink of a very cheap knock-off pepsi and a J2O. £5.40

Moved to the Show area around 715, was shown to our table, asked if a booth was available, informed as there was only 2 people present this was not possible, but it was possible back in December, and there were empty booths.

Paid £11.40ish for 1 X Blood Orange Gin and Lemonade, 1 X Pint of Lemonade, 2 X Prawn Cocktail crisps and 1 X Salted peanuts. After a matter of minutes we were informed no crisps or peanuts, on a Friday night. Partners lemonade was flat, tasted like it had been sat for hours, they took this drink away and left her without a drink whilst they "examined" it at the bar. Nearly 15mins later still no replacement drink was offered. After 25 minutes a member of staff came to the table after we tapped the light and asked "Hasn't anyone brought a replacement yet?" We informed her no, so a replacement was finally brought over, this one was fizzy for a whole 5 mins.

At this point we were giving up on having a decent drink, neither of us drink alcohol usually but when we do it's something with a mixer, I myself had the Blood Orange Gin and Lemonade as stated above, it tasted as though it had been on the bar for suc a long time, like they had added lemon and lime water to it, rendered it undrinkable. Ended up switching to J2O for the remainder of the evening, while my partner ended up making the switch to Black Currant cordial, which looked and tasted like there was maybe a teaspoon of the drink mixed with a pint of water.

Was overall extremely disappointed in our...

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE.THE MANAGER NEVER CAME!! DO NOT PAY FOR VIP BOOTH, SOME BEHIND POST SO U CAN'T SEE!!

We arrived early before doors opened and the people in the sports bar were friendly and helpful. Stayed and had a drink. When doors opened we were shown to our vip booth. We had payed more for a vip booth. We were a group of 4. On sitting we realised that two of the group couldn't see the stage. There was a large post blocking our view. We raised this with the lady serving us and asked if we could change seats. We were told no and that seat changing wasn't allowed until after 9pm as they want spare seats for the walk in. I stated that we have booked and payed therefore should already have seats where we can see. She stated she would speak to her manager. A short while later she returned and stated that the manager had said we can't move until 9pm. I stated this was unacceptable and asked to speak to the manager please. THE MANAGER NEVER CAME!! When the show started the people in the booth next to us moved over a booth so we moved to theirs and the view was fine. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. The show was good and table service was good, DO NOT PAY FOR VIP BOOTH, view is better from tables and is cheaper.

We did in the end have a good night and the singers and dancers were very good. It was nice to get up and have a dance. We would return with...
