Discovered this place today as other sushi bars we know were closed and decided to give it a try. I have to say we were so pleasantly surprised! After placing our order we got given some prawn crackers with a secret lovely sauce to dip while we waited. The food came out quite quick and the presentation was amazing. I would recommend the california rolls which will blow your taste buds away, also the seafood maki and tiger prawn rolls. Can't fault the quality and freshness, everything made to order with a very lovely and friendly staff. Needless to say this has become our new favourite sushi spot. Great value for money. 100% recommend

Loved this place! On holiday in Poole and wanted some local business Sushi. Found this place 20 minutes from our campsite which was perfect. When we went in, the owners welcomed us warmly and took our order with ease. Because we ordered a platter, which took time to prep, the staff offered us Prawn Crackers free of charge to keep us going. Very appriciated! When we receieved the Sushi we were in awe of the presentation. When we tucked in, the taste of the food was delightful. Wonderful food, friendly staff and lovely presentation. We will be coming back soon!

Had some incredible Sushi 🍣 presented beautifully in this Bento box! Pictured is the Bento Box #2 from @makisu_sushibar [insta] It was my partner's 30th Birthday and they came out with a little complimentary dessert that was beautiful and very sweet. Highly recommended, lovely service and very friendly! You order at the counter and pay ahead, grab your drink selection from the shelf and they'll prepare it hot or provide it chilled. Bathroom is through the Noren (curtain)

This place is a hidden gem! Always friendly atmosphere, delicious food, good value for money! I’d been looking for a nice ramen or sushi in Bournemouth and ended up here. Since then, I’ve been visiting only this place for Japanese food. Even if try somewhere else, I usually get back because of tasty fresh fish and generous filling (fav prawn crackers as well ) Worth visiting if you’re looking for quality food

The best Sushi in Bournemouth by a long shot. I’m vegan & have a lot of allergies and they are always so accommodating to this. Great vegan & non-vegan options. My personal favourites are the Cucumber & Mango Maki and the Yakisoba Tofu Noodles. The most lovely owners. 10/10
