Spice House — Restaurant in England

Love spice house. Tonight however is a farce. Appreciate its busy being NYE but an estimated time of 1hr 30 mins is now nearly 3 hours and no delivery. Ring through and they advise delivery was enroute (9pm) Nothing by 9.45pm and then then say delivery hasn't left and another 15 mins. Not impressed. 3 hours for delivery. Not good and no updates. Would reluctantly use again. Sort delivery out and your food is amazing but I don't really want to be waiting on NYE for food for 3 hours. At this rate I will be eating the curry at midnight. Not good. Appreciate how busy it will be but 3 hours is a long long wait and is unacceptable, even in accentuating circumstances. EDIT* Food arrived at 10pm and was absolutely delicious. However why do they need to lie? At 9pm instead of saying its cooked and enroute how about just being honest and saying demand is high, that way people won't get irritated. Food was piping hot do was only cooked a short while before delivery. I don't mind and understand BUT be honest. I hate lies and false promises. Poor delivery guy running around he clearly has so many to deliver. Its not his fault, its a logistical issue. Sort out the delivery issues and you would be a 5 star takeaway.

Edit** Staff were very apologetic and explained what happened on NYE. Apology accepted and they offered a free Naga kebab. As usual, kebab delicious so will continue custom with this takeaway in...

Ordered through just eat and so disappointed. The tikka was so spicy I couldn’t finish it and was so over spiced that you couldn’t taste anything except chilli. I Almost think they forgot to add cream. The one star is for the saving grace that was the mango lassi, so so so yummy and probably one of the best...
