Worst food I have had at a harvester in a while and I usually love the food as well as the service. The salad bar was unhygienic, lots of items mixed in or bar was dirty. The tomato and herb pasta has been my favourite since I was little, the pasta available was disgusting and extremely dry/barely any sauce as well as parts were al dente or overcooked. Portion sizes have gone down on certain meals as well as the prices have risen. The buns were almost rock solid and definitely has been sat under heat for quite a while, the lettuce that they provided in the burgers were shrivelled up and definitely out of date, my lettuce had more resemblance to a Brussels sprout and tasted rubbery. This was the case in multiple meals…limited sauce too. The table we were sat at were missing items (seasoning, sauces ect) however staff were happy to offer assistance getting any items that were missing however other tables were left noticeably dirty. Some plates were chipped. I did go when it was school holidays so understand how busy/overwhelmed they might have been in the day, the service that was received was fine. The young lady who served us was really nice.

I visited the Poole Harvester on Thursday 19 December 2019 in the morning, a weekday during term time. I was with two other people. I've visited this restaurant a number of times. I parked in the car park - parking was easy. The restaurant is set out in the typical Harvester style with plenty of tables with full table service. The team were friendly and welcoming and I had no issues though the speed of service was particularly slow today, even though it wasn't very busy, but we got everything we expected and enjoyed the experience. I enjoyed a tomato and basil soup for my starter and the Bah Humburger for my main course (from the Christmas menu!). The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was very good value for money, I paid £20 for the two courses and unlimited drinks. Overall I enjoyed my visit and will definitely come and visit again.

always when we are on the road we choose H! we love it. I am very shocked today's visit to this place, we waited over an hour for food!!! where there weren't many customers and everyone who came in after us got theirs in 15 minutes! They ask us a 100 times where our table is... the tables were not cleaned the entire time we were there. there was also no cutlery which I had to search for myself. the mix of grilled meats was impossible to eat because it was burnt, the child got a dried out bun with a rubber burger forgetting to even add a stupid tomato the cost of this children's burger was 8.29!!! And look like on the pic... I put it aside so that he wouldn't eat it, I gave it to the kitchen at the end asking if he would give it to his child, and they started laughing stupidly... we paid more as 100 £ for 2+2 !!! definitely lack of a good supervisor hand in this place. Very disappointed!

We went here 23/6 for a birthday breakfast for myself. We Walked in and only one table was occupied. We sat down and ordered. We were expecting the food reasonably quickly seeing as the place was empty but no. It took approximately 30/40 minutes before our meals turned up. My poached eggs with my eggs Benedict were actually hard boiled and it was only warm. My sister in laws pancakes were also only warm and instead of providing the maple syrup? in a container for her to add herself, like other harvesters, they had poured it all over.

My brother ordered the classic breakfast. The small container with the baked beans wasn’t even full and he joked he could count them once he’d removed the skin off the top. It appeared the food had been ready for a while but seem to have dried out? Possibly under a heat lamps. We are not typically complainers and myself and my sister in law actually finished our breakfast but my brother had had enough and said the only thing actually hot were the sausages. The waitress finally returned and he said he wasn’t going to eat his because it was cold. She offered to get the kitchen to make another one but he refused as he didn’t have another 40 minutes to wait. She said they could do it quickly! He asked why it had taken so long and how long had it been sat under the heat lamps? She had no answer and went to the kitchen returning with the bill saying his breakfast had been deducted. By now another 3 people had been seated and also seemed to be querying why their food was taking so long. There was no urgency at all in the restaurant, they appeared to be coasting as it was so quiet and the food was the worst we had ever had in a harvester. We paid for the two meals we had stupidly eaten when we should have returned them and will not be going to this restaurant again.

The fact they left the waitress to deal with it instead of sending a supervisor showed exactly how...

6 of us had a table booked for 09:30 on Friday 29th September. We had a young girl as a waitress. She took our drinks order and brought that to us, then she seemed to disappear, she came back 10-15 minutes later and took our food order. We then waited nearly an hour for our food even though it wasn't busy and 4 of the breakfasts were brought out by another waitress with our waitress bringing out the other 2. In between taking our food order and bringing it out to us, we didn't see her at all. We wanted to order more drinks and eventually called to the other waitress who got us more tea and coffee. Our breakfasts were almost cold, our eggs were hard and the scrambled egg was hard. The sausages were definitely not up to your usual standard. If my black pudding and mushroom had been hot, it may well have been palatable! The beans and the hash browns were cold and not that nice. We ate most of the food because we were exceptionally hungry and were leaving for a long journey. I, and my girlfriends were really disappointed, as we have eaten at the Sea Horse before, at breakfast time, and had really good food. Also, we were doubly disappointed because you have stopped the "build your own" which we have always preferred to a standard breakfast. It felt as though your staff require more training and you need to find a different meat supplier for your sausages at least. There was absolutely no excuse for an hour's wait as there were no more than 15 people in the...

Was on holiday with my family and decided to take them to this Harvester. Upon arrival we was told we had to wait 15mins for a table, which was fair enough as we didn't book. Once we was seated it then took another 20mins for the waitress to come over and take our drink orders. After placing our drink orders we then had to wait a further 20mins for our drinks and salad bowls to come. We went up to the salad bar and came back to the table with an empty bowl and was extremely disappointed as there was hardly any salad available. It then took then 10mins, after complaining to fill the salad which was still very limited (no lettuce). There was no rolls or butter and again I had to ask for assistance. Once getting our limited salad to the table we then realised there was no cutlery, my daughter asked a waitress to get some cutlery. She agnolaged her and never returned. My partner then had to go to an empty table to retrieve cutlery for our table as we had been waiting another 10mins. At this stage you can imagaine our frustration and was ready to walk out and eat somewhere else. NEVER in my life have I experienced such poor customer service. I will NOT be returning to this branch or any other...
