Can be slow service I find and gets VERY busy (which is kind of expected as it is used by locals and as a service station off the A19) I have had an issue before where I've been sat at one drive thrus and no one was taking my order however 3 cars went through the drive thru next to me who arrived after me, but their order was taken before mine. To avoid issues with business I wish there was another mcdonalds located in billingham which could be used by locals therefore leaving the service station to be used by travellers. The location is also 24hours so you can get your 3am mcdonalds fix. Onto food, I've not had any complaints up untill recently, it's usually served hot however there has been several times recently where I have recieved the wrong order or been given my icecream then asked to wait for the rest of my order meaning that by the time I get all my food, the icecrea has melted. I've never experienced any issues with items not being available or the icecream machine...

Examples being Mcflurrys that are basically milkshakes by the time they arrive - and hot drinks made and left on the counter.
If I was the franchise owner/McDonalads I would be very worried about both service and attitude of this store as it's been happening for years now where other stores are by comparison flawless I the area.

Current management expect users of the McDonald's delivery service to make their own way to the store to fix these problems and also is more than happy to blame co-workers and take no responsibility.
I feel sorry for people having to work shifts alongside such excuses for managament.

   Read moreIf the girl who served me I initially hadn't smiled at me, I'd have given this a 1 star. I've had confused orders in the morning, delays and finally, on Friday, a manager type person, well, she had a clip board, barking orders at the staff about rosters and who will be on what and when, all whilst the girl was trying to serve me me. Then a simple sausage and egg mcmuffin wasn't available, so I had to move one window down and wait, for close to 10 minutes. I was eventually served by said clip board waving woman. I asked why the delay, since I was nearly made late, and she replied with, we're busy serving customers. I reminded her that she'd been briefing staff whilst they were trying to serve customers, a bad tactic as staff. Her response? "I'm not a crew member". I swiftly reminded her she's not a manager either. I'm still awaiting her flippant response.......... Food is fine, time...
