So, we have just been for tea at this establishment. Can I say, a few months ago we went for Sunday Lunch and it was lovely! Sadly, not our experience today.

As we entered Pub, there was a sign saying ‘Parmo Night Wednesday’! Parmo was also advertised inside the pub as a ‘Special’ My son went to order one and was told that they had Parmos in stock, but there was no button on the till to allow customers to order it and the stock levels would be affected if it was put through as another item! Ridiculous! Sort your till out, or remove boards advertising the availability of the dish! 🤷‍♀️

Then, I ordered a chicken and bacon salad advertised as including avocado and soya beans! Salad came - no avocado and no soya beans! I mentioned it to a member of staff who was lovely and was his first day working there! He was very apologetic! He mentioned it to a more senior member (? Manager) of staff who was cleaning a table close by and his response was “Oh yeah, I know’. No acknowledgment to me or apology! Very poor service! 🤷‍♀️

My Granddaughter was with us because it was her 3rd Birthday! We had to ask twice for her ice cream to be brought to the table. We waited at least 15 mins for this. A long wait for a toddler!

Conclusion: Must try harder and more senior member of staff should’ve apologised for lack of ingredients, the ‘button’ on the till, the promise of a Parmo which was not available and keeping a toddler waiting for her ice cream! 😡 Don’t think we will be visiting again any...

Can't comment on the food nor service, as we left straight away. Called on Saturday lunch time with a large friendly dog and my disabled mum, who can not walk very well. We only visited as we wanted lunch in a place that advertised as 'dog friendly'.

From the very moment I asked if we were OK to sit at a certain table, the bar maid could not have been more unwelcoming, looking at my dog with disgust, as she is terrified of dogs. We were then told in no uncertain terms to squash my dog right into a tiny space, in the corner. I explained, I wouldn't let him be a trip hazard. But it was clear, I would get grief during the entire meal, if he wasn't squashed out of sight. We decided, it was more preferable to put my mum through the ordeal and agony of walking back to the car and going else where. then staying.

I totally get people are scared of dogs and he is a big dog, but when you are at work, your personal view points, phobias etc should be left at home. You are there to do a job and in the hospitality business the no. 1 objective is to make your customers feel welcome. This member of staff did the opposite and as a direct result, cost the business a sale. I would suggest if dogs are too much of an inconvenience, don't advertise yourself as...

Listening to the staff justify between themselves of why they had received a complaint. How wrong the people are by doing this, specially how dare the customer turn up at 9pm and expect a level of decent service and to the point of laughing at how funny it was! I mean they did reimburse the drinks.

Totally unprofessional and seriously need to reflect on how they conduct themselves within the work environment, because you are at work, yes a place of business, not at a mates house!

Especially a person whom thought it acceptable to wipe his nose on serveral occassion and then bite his nails. Oh then go and serve drinks and food to people without cleaning them 🙄.

Haven't been in here since the lockdowns and will not be returning EVER, it was an absolute let down. But hey going by what they discussed openingly, probably giving them more to twist on about and think they are in the right. Good luck in your hospitality careers, because it is crystal clear you don't want to be in that role. The owner needs to seriously have a word with the staffs attitude and blatant rudeness as if the customers are the hinderence.

Food was nice but did arrive luke warm and no steak knife. Didn't see a point in raising it, taking into consideration the...

This was a pre booked mothers Day meal table for 9 for 12 o clock, and after going here last year, for the exact same special day, our expectations I'm not gonna lie were high. Unfortunately, we felt let down as the meal was poor at best. I personally was going to order a chicken parmo, but they had sold out ? It's very strange, but you roll with the punches, so I got a beef dinner . I hate to do this, but it was just not good. Beef was not nice, quite tough, and chewy. Veg was cold, and hardly any gravy we did order more gravy but overall very disappointed with experience . Burgers and chips are also not the best. Thus, it was not a cheap meal, so I must state how disappointed and let down we feel sorry would not recommend here. Staff were lovely shame about food as this was a family occasion organised by brother in law .

Great local pub, a short walk from the Premier Inn I was staying at. Friendly staff, large carpark, outside wooden huts to sit and drink in for when it's sunny. Good selection of beers and plenty to choose from on the menu and the specials board. Really nice decor inside, its quite deceptive from the outside, screens showing sports and not too loud so you cant have a chat. I had the Rib Eye Surf & Turf off the specials, it came with onion rings, chips, and battered sweet chilli prawns, with a jug of peppercorn sauce. Followed by an Espresso Martini Tiramisu Sundae which tasts as good as it sounds.

Worst pub I’ve ever been to! Walked into a very frosty reception and told to leave and come in another door. Barely dog friendly as the waitress is scared of dogs so doesn’t serve you at the table and you have to fetch everything yourself. Charged double for something and was happy to rip us off instead of noticing and refunding. Steak and fish and chips was dreadful and overcooked. Didn’t have any cider on tap either. If you’re a local it’s probably lovely, if you’re not you’re treated terribly and like you have 8 heads. Should NOT be classed as a dog friendly pub. It’s shocking.
