McDonald's — Restaurant in England

Extremely unprofessional staff at this location. Came in this afternoon, having ordered through the app. Was approached by a lady whom I asked whether I could have the number to display at the table - the lady was confused and unlike most branches they did not seem to have those things around. She just told me to put in number "3" in my app, informed her colleagues and asked me to wait in front of the counter. I was first told to stand in a very specific spot( fair enough I thought considering covid etc) by one member of staff and then was approached by a different person and asked to move 2 meters. I found it a bit annoying as the place was practically empty. Even though I order a single sandwich with no sides, somehow they messed up and I had to wait for more than 5 minutes (order was ready but they didn't hand it over immediately). When I eventually got the food I sat down at the nearest table. After a minute, as I was half way through my sandwich I was approached again, told off for sitting at one of the tables apparently reserved for Uber drivers and asked to leave (not move but "leave the table"). I was already half way through my sandwich, already annoyed by the rudeness of staff so simply replied that I will leave as soon as I'm finished (the said tables were in no way marked as "Uber drivers only", there were no drivers occupying them and the place was empty). The lady didn't like my answer so called for her colleague who repeated the same thing. I was literally 30 seconds from finishing eating so simply replied "I'm almost done, I am not moving". After that a 3rd member of staff who I assume was the manager came to my table and repeated the same thing. I showed him the last 10 % of the sandwich and told him as it is very apparent I will be leaving very soon. He just nodded. I never experienced anything like this, the place was ~ 20 % capacity with plenty of free tables and the staff purposely created all this drama despite no bothering to mark the tables. They treat the customers like they are...

I'm posting this review to warn others to check their order before driving away, i order quite a lot with having kids that love McDonald's, (as much as I hate it I like to keep the kids happy) I honestly couldn't tell you the last time i ordered at the drive through and got the meal i ordered, always something missing, ive also lost count of the times ive had to drive back down to correct them......its got so bad that we instinctively wait at the window now and check everything is there now before driving away, again there IS always something missing....today was no different.....4 happy meals and none had fries.....when i told the young lady who served us she then took the food back, and apologised to the guy who had obviously prepared the food!!! Not us!!.......Yeah she actually apologised to him for having to correct our order and then gave us our food back with what I can only call a face like a slapped arse......clearly annoyed that id complained, .......the customer service really is terrible, the food is even worse andmore times than not stone cold.....ive officially told the kids that were not going back, id rather travel than go there...

It doesn't even deserve one star. I drove for 1 hour 2 nights ago. And they told me it was closed because of a till problem. I asked what they were going to do until the morning and they said they would sit idle until the morning and the problem would definitely not be solved. My wife is pregnant and she wanted fast food and tonight we drove for 1 hour again and came back and it was closed again. I asked again why it was closed and he told me again that there was a till problem. The employees here are definitely bringing this brand's name into disrepute. They close this shop and sit there until the morning and pocket their salaries. This is all a disgrace. In total, it cost me 4 hours of driving. I do not recommend it because of stupid people, do not go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I will report this business. if this business is closed they should state this on Google Maps and Apple Maps, they can not wasting...
