If I was to use one word… outstanding!
Sometimes when you go to McDonald’s the burger and chips are the perfect temperature, sometimes they’re both perfectly seasoned and sometimes when you go to McDonald’s The burger and the chips look as though they had been plucked right off the advert.
Sometimes when you go to McDonald’s you get smiling faces and greeted with a customer service first attitude.
Sometimes when you go to McDonald’s you order is to the T correct and you can see a clean, hygienic environment and all the staff are smiling and happy to be there
Today I got all of these points in one go!
for the first time ever my experience was flawless!
The food looked like it was off the adverts, the perfect temperature and tasted outstanding.
The customer service was brilliant and the young person who came to the car window was extremely apologetic for what was a very short wait and wished me a pleasant and enjoyable meal.
Might I add that I could only describe the weather as monsoon like. Yet the this ray of sunshine managed to keep smiling through the whole thing.
This is quite clearly an exemplary team of colleagues who take pride in their work and have been managed and placed with great pride.
I would like to compliment the teams hard work to deliver such a breadcrumb perfect meal.
A thank you to the young person who drew the short straw and delivered the food to the car window .
And finally a congratulations from one manager to another on his success operating his team. Who came off his break to deal with my quiery (raving compliments)
Now!
McDonald’s are offering me a free meal for this review but can I just say each and everyone tonight should be they guys getting the free meal!
I dont know their names but thank you to a young rainbow of happyness with short dark hair was on the till training a team mate.
And thank you to a light haired handsome young man in a managers shirt, who I overheard say he was on break… but i could see he had already been Interrupted from his break to deal with a question from a team mate, a display of self sacrifice to support his team.
Not only setting an example for McDonald’s but retail and catering up and down the country.
Thank...

Another disappointing experience at the Greenbridge McDonald's. Ordered my food and was asked to pull into the bays (where they are supposed to take your food if it's not ready when you arrive at the final window). This was full, so I parked in the main car park. About 15 minutes go by before I give up on waiting and walk into the building. I explained that I was told to pull up and wait, but was still waiting. I'm guessing I was speaking to the manager or at least the shift leader. She asked me what I had ordered and then went on to fill a bag with food for me. I had ordered a double cheeseburger meal, a chicken nugget happy meal and mozzarella dippers with salsa. When I got back to my car, I realised there was no sauce for the mozzarella 'dippers' and the double cheeseburger was actually a single. I went back in to speak to the lady again and explain what was wrong. She filled up another bag with a triple cheeseburger and salsa and passed it to me. After having wasted around half an hour trying to pick up so-called "fast food", I drove away. It was only when I was halfway home that I realised they had still messed up the order as I had asked, twice, for a chicken nugget happy meal but been given a burger one instead.
I worked in the food and drink service industry for 4 years and understand that fast-paced environments aren't for everyone. This, however, was a complete shambles. Fair enough if you mess up once but you should be on the ball after that....
Read moreEDIT; 6 months later - literally the first visit since my last. Surprise surprise, this order is missing the sauces I ordered. I appreciate that the staff were a lot more polite than my last experience however.
I'd really like one day to leave a glowing review. Today is not that day.
I write this as I just got back from Greenbridge McD's:
Apalling service. I waited in the dual-lane drive-thru whilst they let SEVEN orders through from behind me on the other lane. It took that long for them to come to the speaker.
I wish this was an isolated incident, but near enough the same thing happened to me last week.
I would not have written this review if it weren't for the final (paper) straw; the two staff I spoke to (payment window, collecting window) were non-engaging and appeared to be miserable.
Oh, and double cheeseburger I ordered and paid for is a single and the sauces I asked for (and are on the receipt) are missing.
Absolutely superb McDonalds Greenbridge; you managed to mess up my experience/order with you in every...
