Food was ok, but Jesus 15 minutes from in-store payment to finally getting the food.

Your not fast enough to be fast food, but your food isn't good enough to identify as a restaurant.

Think McDonald's UK needs to make up it's mind what it wants to be in life because right now it's not getting anything right aside from angering their core customers in favour of getting orders out for those using JustEat.

If you really need to focus on home delivery them start making separate stores just for this so the public facing ones can still be served because right now, even Burger King is faster getting orders ready than you are.

This by the way isn't just a specific dig at McDonald's Sandbach but all of the drive thrus (drive through) are all now the same in the North West.

Top to for anyone not British. Ensure you order a large fries that way you will get a medium, however if you order medium then expect to get a kids portion

So final thoughts: If McDonalds UK wishes to identify as a restaurant, then offer waited on table service, ditch the drive thrus, soggy chips and sack off just eat. But if your are actually fast food then how about embracing it, getting quicker at it again like you were in the 00s and sacking off all the modern garbage you've become entwined with in the past 10+years.

Bring back the 30 second drive through where the impatient teenage employee on the window would ask you "anything else" for the 19th time because it was the customer who was the slowest part of the transaction, this speed issue isn't a Covid related problem but one that's been getting worse...

Pretty shocking performance today. Went through the drive in. Ordered my food and paid. Got to the food service window and the staff member there have me my coffee and asked me to move down the the next service window which I did.

I waited for nearly ten minutes when the same staff member pops their head out to ask what my order was. I tell them my order. I try to ask a question, but he's gone. I wait more time.

Eventually another staff member gives me a bag of food. I look in to find the hash brown missing as is my receipt. I have to tell to her as she was about to disappear. Eventually she returns with my missing food and receipt. The sausage and egg muffin looks like the ingredients have been thrown into a piece of scrunched up paper and it falls apart as I open the wrapper.

Being a bit sceptical of the staff abilities at those point I check the receipt. It's not my order. :/

So I park up and go into the store. I speak to the staff member behind the counter wearing a shift manager badge. He greets me like I've just spoken him up and I ask him for my receipt. I start to explain that I haven't had a good experience today but give up halfway through my sentence when it becomes apparent that he doesn't care and isn't even listening to me past I need the right receipt.

To add insult to injury - it wasn't even busy.

I can say that I'm not loving it...

I ordered on the drive through today and was asked to park in a space. I sat there for 45 minutes with cars receiving orders all around me so eventually I plucked up the courage to ask one of the waitresses where my order was as cars either side of me had been coming and going with orders whilst I was sat there waiting. She informed me there is different timings to things but it would be out when it was ready and she was told to bring it. After the next few journeys of watching more cars receive orders and mine not arrive I went into the store and asked to speak to the manager to which an cold order was placed in front of me asking if it was mine as they couldn’t find the car for it. Bearing in mind I had asked where my order was 10 minutes before going into the restaurant. I asked for a refund and said I wasn’t having cold food and I had somewhere to be. The manager became nasty and very short with me up one issuing the refund she argued with me that I wasn’t entitled to a proof of refund receipt which was the final straw into writing this review as I wasted 1hr of my time (time equals money) to allow McDonald’s to kindly hold my money then give it me back as they were too incompetent to fulfill a...

Walked in to the restaurant with my partner and 3 year old son, ordered (a fair price these days) and sat down to wait for our food to be brought to the table. Upon getting it, the food was mildly warm at best, I noticed the fries first all the portions were not up to the correct temperature at all when served and I was given some replacements (with some bewildered looks and minor stares from the staff).. back to the table & all of our burgers were cold (again 3..) took these back up and was then questioned with some attitude in tone. Are you sitting in? How long have you been sat down? What number were you? What an absurd way to treat a customer in your restaurant who has come to buy some hot food for their family as a treat. Got given replacements up to there standard I assume (pic attached), at least they were actually hot though. Who would order a cold triple cheeseburger and fries..?? Not impressed. Certainly won’t be returning and will be spreading the word. Haven’t felt like this since I was questioned in the headmaster’s office. Regards.

YOU COUKD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE!!! I ordered a double sausage and egg McMuffin without egg because my partner is physically sick by the taste and texture of egg. After taking a bite she noticed a piece of egg stuck to one of tue sausages!!! She immediately threw the muffin (which the dog gladly ate) and was sick all over the sofa!! This is disgusting! Her muffin should have been made up without any contact with egg! It appears this was made with egg and then deconstructed and thrown back together! To say I’m shocked is an understatement! Totally unacceptable! My partner is currently awaiting tests to see if she has a severe intolerance to egg and has been asked to avoid it at all costs!!! I expect a full refund and a sincere apology!! Regards, Matt
