Can't rate the food here as after being stood and ignored whilst delivery drivers got served for 15-20 minutes I got a refund and left.
I ordered at the big screens as is the usual deal now in Maccas. That's fine and I don't mind in McDonald's to be honest. But the receipt with my number doing come out which again, does happen pretty often. I was no 12 but wasn't quick enough to take a snap of this. Anyway, I decided to wait up by the counter " just incase".
I was there a while and there was plenty of seating when I went in but this started getting taken up as it was getting busier. I noticed loads of delivery orders being seen too as well, so this was taking loads of the busy staff serving away from the customers waiting to sit or already seated. I was watching and my number didn't seem to be moving. I didn't order anything odd or out of the ordinary.
After some time, I figured at least 15 minutes, I decided I had lost patience. I went up to the counter and asked that I could have my money back. I said what number I thought I was and was told that had only been placed 2 minutes ago. I assured them I had been stood there some time. I double checked what was on the order and that was more order it seemed. I said that there must be something wrong with their system as mine must not be moving. I said that I would like my money back as I no longer wished to wait. I also said if they are busy like that, they should have different hubs just for delivery as it's wrong that all those delivery orders jump the queue ahead of customers that come in and stand there.
It's been a while since this has happend now post COVID and I thought most businesses had moved away from this to be honest. I think there was genuinely a glitch that contributed to my order not moving too but it was a frustrating experience. The staff were fine and refunded me...

On Wednesday the 05/01/2022 went through McDonald’s drive-through to get me and my fiance dinner. Started off alright through the drive-through once we left the drive-through and got home we looked in the bags of food and they were missing a burger and the chips were really cold so I phoned up to the restaurant to complain and asked where my missing burger was the first lady I spoke to started off helpful said that she would look into it and went off to speak to someone but never phoned me back so I phoned back after 20 minutes and spoke to Another lady on the phone and she said I could come back down and get a full refund and a burger that I am missing so I went back to McDonald’s I got that I was greeted by the manager the manager would only offer me a burger for a refund for that pacific burger not a full refund like the lady said on the phone the only reason I was going back down to get a full refund So after a very long conversation with her she would not give me a full refund I was not angry to water I just couldn’t understand by one person was saying okay have a full refund plus my burger and when I get there the manager to say that I was only allowed a refund for the burger and nothing else. Then I went back outside to the car and when I went back in to the restaurant to speak to her again she recently annoyed me and told all staff not to talk to me and all I was doing was standing at the tills. A young lady came next to me and handed back an unwrapped chicken mayo saying it wasn't what she ordered as it had lettuce in and she wanted plain. The lad took it away and dissapeared around the back. 2mins later he reappeared holding three burgers, 2 was put in a bag and handed to me and the other to the young lady. I jumped back in my van and headed to Paignton starteing to eat my first burger. I took a bite out of the second which was like biting into last weeks left overs so I looked inside it to find it was incomplete so I turned around and returned to the store. Could only get to see the shift manager who then asked the counter lad that served me who openly admitted giving me the burger that a customer had brought back unwrapped.
