McDonald's — Restaurant in England

The wait in this store nowadays is absolutely ridiculous! went twice most recently; First visit early afternoon no milkshakes (AGAIN!) How does one place (lakeside) never run out but this one always does?? Soooo kids were upset yet again after wanting one....eventually order and its a 25min wait ...so usual can ya wait in a bay (with the other 7 cars pile up) ..order comes and the 2 dbl cheeseburgers were cold had to walk back in to wait another 10 min to get hot dbl cheeseburgers and fresh chips. Second visit 11.30ish the other night, I only went to get 2 dbl cheeseburgers, 2 mayo chicken....I was waiting 35 minutes in the drive through ended up turning off my car for 20 mins of that...WHAT A JOKE! More than 5 uber deliveries come in on a weekend and a few instore customers and they struggle to process everything 😮‍💨.. Even when there's loads of staff there's its still absolute chaos with mess everywhere... wait!! ...it eventually gets funny though after the frustration of syanding around 15 mins....you get to watch your the food pile up on the end of the conveyor. Its especially amusing seeing your burgers sat there for 10 to 15 min and watching the 3 bongos try figure out what needs to be in which bag and what came first 🤤?? .... then they still have no clue. ..this place need to get their act together and stop employing workers with no common sense or initiative. Only reason they get 2 star is because the breakfast team usually manage to smash it nearly everytime we go must be a pro or two on then...and because of the amusement factor that follows after the frustration, when you just don't get how they can be so terrible.....when I have a successful day service here I'll update the review and maybe increase the star rating .....until then I think I'll just stick to the lakeside Park that seem to know how to handle...

raw bacon visited with my autistic son - his medical condition means he has to follow routines in order to avoid meltdowns - both in turns of daily plans , types of clothing he will / won't wear and food he will or won't eat. we ordered a chicken legend and added cheese and bacon (as loves chicken royale with cheese and bacon at burger king). on arrival - the bacon was cold and raw looking. as he started to stress i asked staff if it could be re-made due to cold bacon. apparently , you can only have cooked hot bacon in rolls before 11. after that , you get room temp bacon , cooked off site then packaged , to be opened and left at room temp !! i explained his condition - routine etc - they took his food away , removed the bacon & brought it back. as i sensed a meltdown approaching , i took him out as he was getting tearful. he refused to eat it as he's studied hospitality at college and was worried about food poisoning due to food left out all day. once safely away , i rang to speak to a manager - conveniently none around ! i told them what happened - no apology , no offer of a refund for failing to provide our order. appalling service - wonder what Enviromental Health would make of serving food left out all day & risk of cross...

This mcdonalds gets my order wrong all the time. Most of the time I am home before I realise but tonight they managed to get it wrong 3 times. I went through the drive through and they past me my order which was completely wrong, burgers all wrong and kids meal I didn't order. The manager was called over who checked it and I was asked to park up as what I ordered was still cooking. After 10 minutes or so the food came out to my car and i decided to check it before driving home. I noticed a burger was missing so I had to get out of my car and go in to fix it. This made going through the drive through pointless. Once inside I was ignored by the young staff who walked past me. A few minutes later a different manager came round the corner and was checking the fries so I shouted over to him and told him my order was wrong again. Once he checked the order and put in the missing burger he passed the bags back to me and I left expecting all my order to now be in the bags. Once home we took the order out of the bag and found that the 2 Minecraft figures I should have gotten with the meals I ordered were missing. I'm so angry as I ordered them specifically for my...
