Absolutely bismal! It's supposed to be a fast food restaurant. I went through the drive-through, and the lady who took my order was very polite . Then, I moved up to the second window to collect my order, and again, the staff member was very polite, I was handed my drink and then sat there for about six minutes, she then told me there was a problem with the food that I had ordered and could I go and park in one of the bays, and that they would bring my order out to me.I then sat there for another six minutes and a young member of staff brought my order to me. I opened up my order and found that there were no fries in it, so I went into the restaurant and explained that I had ordered a meal and the fries were missing. She opened the bag and agreed with me. She then put some fries in, and I left. I travelled approximately three minutes up the road and parked up so as I could eat my meal. I was so disappointed when I bit into the big tasty burger I had bought only to find out that it was stone cold! So it wasn't very tasty at all. I didn't have the time to go back as I was on my way to work,so I ended up putting it in the nearest litter bin! What a total waste of money. I certainly will not be going back. McDonald's should be ashamed of the cold puke that they charge eight pounds for....
Read moreCame here in passing, felt very intimidated. At first I walked into the building and went to the toilets as I had a long drive ahead of me. I am disabled but I can access the normal toilets. I went in and they were so tight that they disoriented me. There were only two toilets and both were disgusting, covered in hairs, dirt and pee. The floor around the sink was wet and didn't seem like it had been cleaned in quite a while.
As I came out I went to order on the touch screen, which crashed quite a few times on me, eventually a member of staff came up to me as I'd been stood there a while. She watched me for about 10 minutes then said "how are we today?" and I made small talk, discussed the thing crashing on me and how we were just passing through. She simply smiled and walked off, which felt like she was just trying to watch what I was doing (as I have quite a babyface I blend in more with the teenagers there) and trying to clear me off. Then the machine took my money, didn't tell me my number and then wouldn't print a reciept.
Luckily the order was correct and the food was warm, but other than that the atmosphere and service were an absolute...
Read moreIt's a maccy d's and just like all the rest. Has ok parking but do not go here on match days as it sits right next to Grimsby town football stadium and is so packed they sometimes walk people through the drive through. It's one of 5 in town but is sat in a bit of an area of town and toilets can be a bit unclean sometimes. It has tablets for children to play on, table service that is usually fairly fast, limited seating outside but it's not comfy. Disabled access is fine and the tables can be sat at by someone in a wheelchair I would think. Ordering chicken items near closing is a bit of a gamble. You will either get chicken that's been sat there or (usually) you have to wait as they cook some up. We dont mind waiting as it's nice and fresh when it comes. Polite staff that dont mind if you have a issue. Orders normally correct. Can be a wait if busy.
We use it if we fancy a snack after our late shift, it's open till 11pm and is normally quieter then compared to the seafront and a180 ones. That's about all I have to...
