This experience was completely awful. When I entered the building, I went to McDonald's thinking it would be quick, easy and simple to order. I couldn't have been more wrong. I eventually managed to get past the vast number of people staring at the screen waiting for their order numbers to show up (almost all of them were extremely and unnecessarily rude) to place my order. When I got to the front I asked if I could order a Big Mac and I was rudely interrupted and told that apparently I was meant to go to the other till to order. This had not been made clear in any way but the staff seemed to expect everyone to understand it.
After I waited for a while at the ordering till a man came over. Then as I started placing my order, once again I was rudely interrupted and asked if I would like it as a meal or seperately. I decided to go for a meal and then I had to repeat my order for him. After a while he sighed and asked if that was it. I asked him clearly if they had Irn Bru and he looked at me blankly and said "orange juice?" I said no but before I could ask again he rudely said "speak properly so that I can understand you." How dare he tell me to speak more clearly when in fact he was muttering every word as if he didn't want to be there. "No", I repeated. "Do you have Irn Bru?" He didn't even bother to check with any other staff before shrugging and saying "I dunno, no." So I decided to settle for a simple Coca-Cola but for some reason the made a strange grunting noise and shook his head. I repeated loud and clear "I'll just have a coke then." Then he asked me "Is that everything" in a very rude tone of voice. I asked clearly if I could also order an Oreo McFlurry but he (rather disrespectfully) didn't even acknowledge the latest addition to my order and again asked me "Is that everything?" I eventually managed to finish my order and he told me it had cost £8 and something but I couldn't tell how many pence because he had been unhelpfully muttering at the time as he spoke. I handed over a £10 Sterling note from the Royal Bank of Scotland and he stared at it for a while before turning to another member of staff to check if they accepted that type of note. Beyond ridiculous. Then he asked if I was from Scotland and then had the audacity to blame my "Scottish accent" (which I don't have) for the misunderstanding which was all his fault.
After a very long wait my order number eventually showed up on the collect side of the screen and even then I still had to wait a while before my order arrived with the same man I had ordered with. "Ugh, you again," he sighed. This was the last straw and once I had collected my meal I turned and headed off to escape the horrible atmosphere of this dreadful service station as...
Read moreJust wanted to thank one of the managers and staff yesterday. We always stop at this service when we go to Wembley for our friends little boy he is a bit of a fussy eater but also its tradition and he talks about it all the journey from Manchester. We got there yesterday just as the systems went down and we're unable to take any orders just fulfil ones already in the system. I asked discreetly if could buy a small chips (his favourite part of the meal anyway) and give then cash as he wouldn't eat anything else the server said no but the manager heard my conversation and said go get the chips s/he gave them to us, I offer a fiver which s/he declined and thanked them so much .... one happy boy on the way to Wembley. They didn't have to do that and we would have driven around and found another macdonalds but for a small fries they we very kind and gave them anyway. So thank you 💙 won't put any other detail as they probably shouldn't do it and can't do for everyone but we were...
Read moreThe customer service here is APPALLING. My colleagues and I ordered through the McDonald’s app, only to find that we were missing two medium fries that were rightfully paid for. We then proceeded to call inquiring as to why perhaps these were left out of our order. The very rude worker then proceeded to hang up on us- despite us having rightfully paid for the fries which we were waiting for. This was in no world acceptable, especially considering the respected institution that McDonald’s is. I do not expect this service from anyone, especially considering that I am not in-fact owed this money by the Beaconsfield Services McDonald’s.
Furthermore, the food that we did receive was soggy, bland and overall disgusting- I could not finish it (shocking considering that I am an regular McDonald’s customer and regard myself as a fast-food connoisseur). The food and customer service here was unacceptable- avoid this place like your life...
