Medway Cafe — Restaurant in England

I was a regular to this cafe until this week. I found a LIVE SLUG in my food and when it was brought to their attention, they offered to change the food. I said no due to being put off my food. So they kept trying to offer me other items I did not want, you don’t want to carrying on eating somewhere after that!

They then proceeded to charge the full amount for all the meals, when I ate about 5 chips before finding the slug 🤢🤮

After this shoddy service, I refuse to go back.

Unacceptable for them to have this happen and still feel it’s acceptable to charge someone.

I didn’t blame them when the Slug was found, yet I do blame them for charging us for a meal that was clearly not up to...

Scammers!!

We ordered on Uber Eats for collection. We received a notification to collect the food after 30mins. I arrived at the shop, and the food WAS NOT ready; they HADN’T EVEN STARTED PREPARING THE FOOD! NOTHING WAS COOKED! They argued with us, saying the food would take another 40mins to prepare when we queried why we told the order was ready to collect. We told them to cancel the order. Instead of cancelling the order, these CROOKS marked the food as collected and refused to give us a refund, and Uber will not provide a refund as the merchant marked the food as collected. We are in a cost-of-living crisis, and this business is cheating local people. Order online at...

Ok, so this was our first visit to the cafe, and before I go on , I was impressed.

As soon as we walked in the two staff members where attentive and super friendly, made us feel really comfortable and welcome,

We ordered two set breakfast and two cold drinks , both breakfast came with a hot drink and either toast or bread and butter , when the breakfast’s turn up they where piping hot and delicious, I would say for a fried breakfast they looked clean and not greasy, Amazing. And the price was super reasonable, one of the best value breakfasts we have had

We will definitely be returning for both the service and the food...
