Very unhappy customer, do not recommend you go here. Avoid avoid avoid!
We have been here before, and previously it was lovely, and we were returning customers, but shall not be returning again.
Went for dinner last night for my sisters birthday, table was booked for 7.30pm, we arrived on time and our orders were taken shortly after. We were waiting for food to arrive for 1 hour and 45 minutes, plates were dirty, greasy and oily. The food was edible, but nothing special.
Today everyone has been poorly, with severe diarrhoea, including my other sister who is 7 months pregnant. Telephoned and spoke to the manager who was rude and aggressive, insisting that his food has made nobody else poorly and that he’s had no complaints. Last night we saw a couple of tables walk out of the restaurant, we overheard other customers complaining and people left with plates full of food.
After informing the manager that everyone who ate there last night from my family have been poorly today with food poisoning symptoms, instead of simply apologising, he started to shout down the phone, would not let me speak, told me not to ever come back and then hung up!
We won’t be returning, because we don’t like food served on filthy plates, or to end up poorly the next day. So i really really would not recommend...

We had an exceptional dining experience at this amazing Indian restaurant! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my egg and dairy allergies. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients in each dish and worked with the chef to create a delicious vegan curry that was both flavorful and satisfying.
The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure I had the best experience possible. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a warm, vibrant ambiance that made the meal even more enjoyable.
To top it all off, they offered a free end-of-meal alcoholic drink, which was a lovely touch and made me feel truly valued as a customer.
We will absolutely be returning before we leave Grimsby and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and...
Read moreWent for a family meal. 11 of us in total. Parking is easy and the place is really clean and well presented. Prices are extremely reasonable. Food is of a high standard. It has to be the best lime pickle on the poppadom tray I have ever tried. The coconut chutney had a hint of fennel in it. I went for the mushroom chat for starter which was full of flavour and well presented. Mains were all excellent. I had the award winning dish, the shezane murgh, which was sweet, spicy and had a little tang. The lamb was tender and the sauce plentiful. If anything it could have been a little spicier as described. I ordered this with the pineapple fried rice and keema nann. The nanny was excellent, the rice was okay, I think it could have benefitted from a little seasoning.
The food was piping hot as were the plates, the portion sizes are huge, a rice and nann between two would easily be enough.
Will definitely be going again. A real...
