While visiting Miss Coffee for my partners birthday we ordered the Matcha Ice Tea and Matcha tea crèam cake, needless to say we're fans of Matcha tea.

During our visit the owner asked us if we liked the Matcha Ice tea as they're using a new brand, and here's my review of it and the cake:

As some of you will know Matcha Tea can be pretty bland and flavourless if done wrong, this wasn't an issue at Miss Coffee, it was creamy, sweet, full bodied and refreshing.

As for the cake, the portion isn't exactly small and to say it's smooth, super flavourful and creamy would be an understatement.

For those who haven't been to Miss Coffee before I'd suggest you visit as soon as possible, you can't go wrong with a simple milk tea or something more adventurous, they also have a stock of different Asian snacks, and my favourite: ramen.

Staff are super friendly, and the environment is warm and inviting, they even have little cute shopping carts for picking up those delicious snacks

(Just as a side note, I don't live in Derby and I don't know the staff personally, my review is solely from my experience so I have no bias, other than being an avid fan of Asian...

I do not advise. I'll explain why. Today we visited this cafe in Derbion because after the course we were very hungry and wanted something to drink. I was interested in one cocktail and asked my friend to ask about it (because I’m from Ukraine and I don’t know English enough yet, I was afraid to make a mistake), my friend is a certified translator, she asked a guy (the staff of this cafe) a question. He said he didn't understand her. She asked if he understood English, he answered yes. Then he repeated several times "crazy" After which she made an order for another Ukrainian woman. And when I saw the order of one visitor, I asked for the same one and specified "white with cream". In the end, they didn't do exactly what I asked for. To my complaint, the girl who was called the manager replied that the policy of their company does not provide for an exchange. I said that they could look at the cash register what they ordered in front of me and make me the same. After that, the employees discussed us out loud without hesitation. As a result, a spoiled mood, money spent, a feeling of racism (which even my children...

Female owner is so rude! Was starting on her staff in front of customers. Never going to give them service again!

Update So I don’t actually know who I’m supposed to be friends with who works at the store but I feel sorry for your employees if you’ve targeted someone based on my review and I should hope that you don’t treat anyone one differently due to a review on your treatment of your staff.

I don’t live in derby nor do I know anyone in derby. The only reason I was in town was for the day due to training for my work and came in due to loving bubble tea. While in the store you called a member of staff stupid rather loudly in front of customers , the girl was rather upset. I don’t feel comfortable endorsing an establishment that abuses staff , if you could do that so blatantly with customers around I worry about what happens behind...

Best bubble tea in derby by far. Honestly it’s about time I reviewed miss coffee. I have been going here for years and have tried so many types of bubble tea, hot chocolates and tea/coffee. All of which I have no complaints and lots of praise for, the staff are friendly and are so helpful. A few times they have recommended drinks and new things to try. They always make sure you’re happy with everything before creating your drink! Thank you for always serving me with a smile! The place is small and cosy and is full of great products. I would 10/10 recommend a visit , they have something for everyone <3 the drink is the crème brûlée Taiwan , with tapioca !! Lush
