on friday 19th jan we took our granddaughter into the cafe for tea. she had chicken tika with rice,and a hot chocolate,my wife and i had fish and chips with peas and a slice of bread and butter. i had mushy peas and my wife had garden peas. we went to the drinks machine and got the hot chocolate and 2x lattes.we found a table and sat down to have our drinks and await our meal.my granddaughter took two sips of her chocolate and the handle of the cup broke in two,luckily she was just putting it down.when our meal arrived there was no bread,so i went to the till and asked the lady for some she said she would get us some,but it was then delivered to the wrong table,so my wife went and asked again,this time we got our bread.on eating the meal i found that my peas were stone cold and set like a rock. you could say that we were not very pleased with the service or our meal.i await your...

Where do I start. I've had breakfasts in all kinds of places and I can hand on heart say this was the worse. The "cooked" mushrooms were practically raw, everything else was practically burned, no fried bread despite being on the menu, eggs solid, toast was just warm bread. Coffee was passable but cold due to them shouting across the cafe at you but I was in the process of getting my coat off and didn't hear her so it just sat there despite them advertising loud and proud that they bring it to you, when I asked the lovely lady if this cold coffee was mine she shrugged and said well I did shout you then disappeared out the back. Ordered food from automated station and tried to get the attention of the only staff member front of house to ask for sauces who was staring vacantly into space in a relatively empty cafe. Mumble mumble mumble "Sorry could you repeat that?" If looks could kill: "We bring the sauces out when your food comes" "But how do you know wh...." "WE BRING the sauces OUT when your FOOD COMES" I go to my table and a short while later the food is practically thrown down on the table. "GOT NO SAUCE" as she runs away.
