Auntie Mabels — Restaurant in England

Mables, used to be one of my favourite places to eat but since it has changed hands its become terrible, prices have massively increased for below sub par food... ordered at counter and got my cup of tea 25 mins later, I asked for a strong cup of tea, this look see through and I couldn't drink it, at 1.70 a cup I expect better, ordered a ham salad sandwich which came with salad on the side and one slice of ham, constructing my own sandwich wasn't my plan, I also ordered a tuna panini which on the menu says it come with mayo, which I got the panini there was no mayo just dry canned tuna, completely unedible, honestly some of the worst service I've...

I came in for the first time today with my husband while I waited for a doctor's appointment. It was very busy and I could only see two ladies working. It's very dog friendly, I enjoyed playing with two labs while waiting to order. The ladies were very friendly and happy to take my order , we didn't have to wait too long for our food or drinks but it was fresh and hot and very nice. Customers were friendly as we talked. The seats could do with upgrading but that's the only thing that lets this lovely little place down, everything else was spot on. Clean enough. I'll definitely be back....

Went for breakfast, a bit disappointing after reading reviews bacon was rock hard, sausages were dry and fried eggs were like rubber the tea had a very odd taste and was like that weird instant powdered tea that you spoon into cup and stir in boiling water as there was an odd residue in bottom of cups, the hash browns were very nice though and lady who served us was very nice and friendly. Although there were only 3 other customers (2 of whom had only ordered chips) we had to wait nearly half an hour for the breakfast Sadly won’t be returning as food...
