First time I’ve been here in 20+ years of living in Raunds.
Went on a very quiet Tuesday night with my dad. Staff were very attentive and friendly.
Was initially shocked to discover they don’t serve alcohol and it was BYO - not that is a bad thing but actually it works rather nicely with the SPAR across the road.
The resteraunt and loos were IMMACULATE I have never been in a venue that CLEAN before! I really had to struggle to find any form of dust or dirt and the carpet looked brand new and everything was just peaceful and calming and made me and my dad have a really good convo. Music was set just so and it was a good temperature
In addition the food was excellent in great portions and tasted amazing. Had the lamb shish kebabs and the chicken tikka masala and some Naan Bread - very sweet and not as spiced as expected but that being said it was incredibly well presented and tasted great.
None of the sundries we’re complimentary or sauces but the bill was £43.75 for two dining and for two mains and a starter and sundries of that quality and the ambience of the resteraunt we were more than happy! We took a menu and will be...
Read moreMy son ordered from mughal dynasty through just eat He filled in the delivery address which substituted the first line of the address for another but the house number and post code was there and correct which i have a screen shot to prove The food was then delivered to the the wrong address which does not match the post code I then phoned on behalf of my son after he tried to no avail and was greeted on the phone by a very rude and obnoxious member of staff Was told it was delivered to the correct address. Then he became aggressive by swearing and then threatening, telling me he knew where i lived!! As a delivery driver myself you always check the post code first its just common sense Am now in the process of complaining to just eat and they are escalating the case Disgusting behavior from a so called quality restaurant Not interested in putting the...
Read moreReally nice food, and everything was going okay until the bill came out, as we were absolutely disgusted at their charging policies. We had food left over, so we asked for it to be bagged up. They charged us an additional £4.50 for 'doggy bags'. They also charged us £4.95 in addition to the cost of the poppadoms for the chutney bowl. I've never seen this anywhere else before, and we have been to hundreds of restaurants over the years. In hindsight, I should have asked for them to bag up the leftover chutney as we had to pay a fiver for a few dips, but there again, they would have charged us to do that 🤣 Seriously though, just because they are the only one in town, they shouldn't take the p*ss... we won't...
