Taste of Spice — Restaurant in England

I like to think my reviews are fair. I once reviewed this place at 5 stars, but today my boyfriend and are are on the toilet throwing up from both ends, and it is definitely from Taste of Spice's chicken. I had the veggie burger, yet I've been poisoned too, which shows cross contamination. The last 3 times we've ordered chicken it's been gross, coating is soggy, or poisonous. Their hygiene rating is 3*. They've got my order wrong twice recently. There's no 'im sorry' compensation for making me walk all the way to Taste of Spice to pick up the missing item. You should throw in a can of pepsi etc. to apologise for the unnecessary effort you've caused customers. The chips are unseasoned, always, and the cheese is tasteless. We used to be very regular customers, but we shan't come back ever again. So long Taste of Spice.

They gave me and my bf two giant chocolate santas once, for free, near christmas. The veggie burger is so yum, and I'm not even veggie. It's so crisp on the outside and squishy inside. It is interesting to read other Taste of Spice reviews regarding vegetarian food not being handled correctly, as my experience has been very much the same and very concerning.

Mixed in with an all vegetarian order a single chicken nugget.

This was not an order mistake as you don't order one nugget, this was evidence of a disorganised and careless food preparation area / staff.

If you, or anyone you are ordering for have any kind of dietary requirement, such an intolerance or an allergy you absolutely should not trust Taste of Spice to deliver safely prepared food.

Taste of Spice were called and made aware, their solution was to offer more food though obviously I no longer trust them, no longer want their food - even for free and I shall never order...

I ordered a large pizza and cheesy chips, when the food arrived the food was freezing, to the point the cheese hadn’t melted on the chips. It wasn’t along drive to my house (10 minutes if that) we then proceeded to ring taste of spice to let them know the food was cold, they told us to contact Uber eats as it was there driver so the only solution would be that Uber eats refunds it. After speaking to Uber eats we found out that we was lied to and it was in fact a taste of spice delivery driver so was told by Uber eats to go back to the restaurant. Today I’ve rang the restaurant back up, to then be shouted at and abused down the phone. I would not recommend buying your dinner from here. The food is cold and not even edible. And the staff are...
