The Woodpecker — Restaurant in Great Britain

Really nice place to relax or if you prefer to watch sports there are plenty of televisions around to get a good view of one. The restaurant area looks really nice however, I've not eaten there (yet) so cannot comment on the food quality. The staff are really welcoming and polite. I'd recommend this place to all. Only issue I personally have is the fact I'm a real ale drinker and they only have a choice of two but that is not going to prevent me from continuing...

No parking available, you have to park in a public car park...

Hadn't been here for years, used to be the old woodbine working mens club. The transformation is amazing. Was there for a school reunion. The food was delicious, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere was welcoming. Apparently they do a great Sunday carvery which will try at a later date....
