Oli and Joe's Prudhoe — Restaurant in England

Food is fantastic but I can honestly say the service I have experienced was appalling. I made 2 takeaway orders over a month and they were both wrong. Now, mistakes can be made and that's OK. What's not OK however is I sent several messages stretching back over a month and I didn't receive a single reply. I then made a Trip Adviser review a few weeks ago and then today out of the blue I got quite an angry aggressive message from the restaurant unhappy with my review and then just said they didn't want my business again and told me not to order from them again. They're logic is I could have called the restaurant and yes that's true. The fact that I sent them a message on their Facebook page does not mean However that they can just ignore my messages and then attack me ad the customer for being unhappy. It's a real shame as I loved their food but I will not be treated that way as a customer and then made to feel like I'm in the wrong. The manager or whoever I was dealing with could certainly do with a training course about how to deal...

This is a little jewel in the crown for Prudhoe, it's just a pity it isn't getting the patronage it deserves. The food is good and with a 3 course specials at only £6.95 it represents terrific value. Bearing in mind they have only just been allowed to open following lockdown I think they have done really well too reintroduce the standards they had achieved pre lockdown. I know through FB People of Prudhoe that the owners recently made a substantial financial contribution to a local cause and I think it is only right that we as residents show our appreciation by spending our hard earned cash at Oli and Joe's. Last night the 24th July me & my best mate after over a year got the chance to hang out, he booked this local Italian & said not many reviews as it opened and close last year due to COVID .. well we were met by waitress Jasmon really canny .. ordered toasted bred with lashings of butter house pino, chilled crisp but expected standard ,,,then my main arrived “ Risotto with Scallops Yummy Prawn Salmon. Mussels warm creamy, I ate slow plenty chat as it was a catch up but WoW the first taste til the last over 15 mins or so first fork till last was Delicious….
