Oruna Cuisine — Restaurant in England

Table booked at last minute to pop in for dinner as a half term visit treat with my Grandchildren. As usual, we were welcomed into the restaurant as if we were family or good friends and shown to our table, which was the only one available. So it's a very good idea to book beforehand as this is a very popular place to eat. Drinks order was taken and served quickly. Menus arrived and orders taken. From the starters to dessert, the food was wonderful, as was the "nothing is too much trouble" attitude to service. Very friendly & helpful staff who, despite the restaurant being fully booked, had time to chat to my 13 & 10 yr old grandkids and didn't treat them like silly young children. At the end of the meal, they were treated to a free fruit "mocktail" and a box of chocolates each! Whereas I was given a number of vouchers for good special offers/discounts on future meals plus a lovely bottle of white wine as a gift! I will certainly be visiting more often, not because of the freebies, but for the great atmosphere, friendly attitude from the staff, the service and especially the food plus making my monsters feel comfortable and welcome. Ordered food from here tonight, and we've had a terrible experience, and not for the first time, however I like to give people another chance when rectified, like it was before.

Tonight the restaurant rang us to state the delivery was more than they usually charge us, giving the reason of our postcode, however this also differed from the advertised amount. Then they ring us and were incredibly rude to us, after they had sent the delivery driver to completely the wrong place, wasn't even close to where we live. Our address was clear on the order, and the same as where we have ordered to in the past. Which previously hasn't been a problem. The food was delivered two hours after we ordered, and we ordered as soon as Oruna opened. As a result the food was very cold when we managed to eat it, which is unfortunate because it probably would have tasted nice.

Completely flabbergasted and disappointed at our experience tonight. I'd recommend the staff not making prices up as they go along, and not being rude to paying customers who are not being rude to you. Also don't charge more for a service than...

I should of looked at all the bad feedbacks before I eat in this terrible place Had a very bad experience in this place last night waited for over a hour for food we got drinks when we first sat down but by the time the food come we needed more so we asked a man if we can order he said 1 minute but he never did come back so I had to go upto the bar and ask someone to come and take our drinks order when the drinks come half was missing so back up to the bar again when the food did come out it was on a trolley for ages just sat in between the kitchen and the bathroom with people squeezing past it food was just OK when after 2 hours like we had I was just ready to leave so asked someone for the bill 20 minutes later no bill yes you guessed it back up to the bar to be told to go and sit down untill they add the bill up after another 10 mins we all just got up as if we was gonna leave then they finally come to us with the bill definitely won't return very...
