Decent prices for decent food, the staff are nice as well. However I don't really like how many bar stools and tables have replaced regular dining tables now. It seems like there is more and more of them with each passing year. Not good for people that have balance issues or arent as mobile as the average Joe. Still, there is plenty of seating when it isn't packed. Sitting by their fire whilst having a cup of tea is very relaxing, especially after a long winter's day. The food is a tad greasy, but for these prices, what do you expect? Very good for a family on a budget, but not so good for people looking for a higher quality meal. It's not bad for a Witherspoon place, but the toilets are not cleaned often enough and nearly always have a foul odor, something you wouldn't want to smell after a big meal. This is the third time my husband and I have tried this place for a meal and like the last two occasions the food was dreadful. We took my elderly mother on this occasion and the 21 day matured sirloin was too chewy for her to eat despite asking for it to be cooked medium. It was well done and bone dry. I had to send my BBQ chicken melt back as it was actually hard around the edges and couldn't be cut never mind eaten. My husband ordered a large mixed grill but they left off the sausage and egg so that had to be brought separately. Though there are lots of tables the majority are poorly lit and grotty. The only saving grace was the polite staff. My suggestion is if you want a nice meal don't go there but go to the Three fish beefeater on the A41. Travelled to Market Drayton today to view a property but unfortunately it was not as described however we called into the Hippodrome just for one as i was driving and its indeed quite impressive. Nice friendly chap behind the bar, nice pint of beer only £2:09. I have only given three stars as it would be unfair to award more or less as i wasn't there that long. The only downside was a group at a table outside which included at least one member of staff: there was a lot of bad language quite loud and in front of other customers and children also.
