Dear customers, you are not eating Indian food..but a copy of Indian food...If you like this food(which i as an Indian will not eat even for free)imagine how much you will like authentic indian food?? Looks like another Indian restaurant out of thousands of Indian restaurants in Britain, operated by non Indians!
We had been for dinner 2 indian families. We called before coming. On coming half hour earlier than discussed inspite of free tables(2) we were reminded we were early. We were greeted by a non smiling stern waiter. There were non Indians in adjacent tables. We ordered starters first and 2 waiters came to remind us so we also ordered the main meal. We chose a vegetable for main meal which was very spicy even by indian standards. 2 waiters came asking for menu cards back..twice wen no new customers had come until then. The onion in the chutney dip was cut ages ago and chutneys were absolutely something in my 36 years of lifetime as an Indian and travelled to nearly all directions in India... I'm still trying to figure out. The vegetable arrived in a mini mini nearly flat kadhai...Good for 1. Surprised by quantity we looked at menu card and asked to order a dal fry. The stern strict waiter told us we cannot order anything else but the same sabji/ vegetable. We did that thinking we are late. However after we finished dinner almost after 45 minutes 4 british men entered ...They were gladly served whatever they asked...They were not informed ...reminded and told that only this can be made in kitchen now!!! That's not enough ...
We had 2 kids ( 10 and 6 year old)with us and we're given 2 plates short..just 4 plates for 4 adults!! For some reason they thought the kids will eat from adult plates or nit eat af all?? After informing and waiters asking questions back we were bought 2 small plates..We requested for 2 big plates for kids since we had ordered rice and chapati sabji...The waiter after our second reminder after asking us why can't kids eat in small plates brought forth 2 plates. The entire conversation was done with complete disdain. At the end another senior waiter came asking how did we like the food to which we said the sabji was very very spicy. With complete ridicule we were told generally that variety is spicy( yes we knew it and hence ordered but we dint think the vegetable gravy will be made as if purely of red chilly paste.) We left the seat with a hefty bill and our minds full of questions....In entire uk for all these years we were never treated so badly...And here is a man who most probably ( from the taste of food)..Its nowhere close to delicious Indian food! Please go to India and taste the food if you get the visa...It is a thousand times different and better! This restaurant food is definitely cooked by bangladeshi or pakistani who has never ever travelled to India...Then why not brand it as bangladeshi or pakistani food?) You are running a restaurant with the brand name INDIA to attract ignorant english people and earn money ...Loads of it...atleast out of gratitude you would treat Indians equally if not better. I will never ever go to this restaurant...NOT INDIAN FOOD!! Please take trouble to travel to punjab or gujrat in India...You will never even touch this food.
To the guy whose running the restaurant ....I as an Indian will never ever eat in this restaurant again! The taste and the service both. Dear Englishmen ...Please go to Sai Spice in Manchester ...That's Indian restaurant run by indian! It's very very important to ensure that what food you are eating as Indian..".Is" authentic indian food cooked...

I came with my friend to eat and we asked for 2 chicken curryies but I ask mine to be mild spice while the waiter asked my indian friend if he wanted medium hot so I taught that they are doing levels of spice. The waiter told me about chicken Korra? Whatever the name was and said that it is like chicken curry but mild and creamy. I was waiting to see what I will receive and I received a yellow coconut, weird dish, extra sweet with chicken. It was discussing. When my friend tasted it, he said that is not how it supposed to be anyway. We asked the waiter to change it to my first request, chicken curry as the "medium" hot it wasn't anyway that hot for me. He said that he can't do that and we will be charged extra for another portion of chicken curry. Very disappointing. Also the 2nd chicken curry was too watery and the chicken was not coocked properly.
I will never come back to...
Read moreHave you ever been to a restaurant where they provide you wet / unclean glasses for drinking water ? Yes this restaurant did just that. When asked for clean and dry glasses, the bald headed waiter / manager shouts out with an angry tone as follows "only when you order drinks will you get clean glasses". "You only ordered food" as though we did a crime. I wanted to walk out straight away but waited as it was late to find food in Warrington. On previous two other occasions they gave the wrong food for delivery and when asked for a refund the same manager argues that food deliveries will never be refunded. I explained that I am vegetarian and that nothing in my order was chicken but wouldnt listen or refund. Complete lack for moral ethical or customer values.
Not going here again ever. Best of luck to...
