I hadn't eaten here in a while so I decided to take my partner when we were in the area. When we arrived we seen the prices outside, the prices have gone up over the past few years as expected. It is more expensive than some other places in the area for lunch, but I really enjoy the food here. Once we entered we were placed on a table that seated 2 people and we were able to order drinks. The drinks arrived quickly to the table, they are not refillable. The food is all you can eat and you are able to go up and choose whatever you like. There is a large variety of food available. All the food tasted lovely and was very hot. There are also starters, main and dessert available. The restaurant has lovely decoration all around and even plays relaxing whilst you eat. We only went for lunch so part of the restaurant wasn't in use. My only problem with my experience was the toilets. They do offer a disabled bathroom, this is amazing. However the ceiling is very low so this may be a problem for carers. Also the main toilets I didn't feel were very clean as there were a few spiders dotted around. I would gladly visit again when I am next in the area.

I was taken out on a Birthday meal, Upon seating we were told that our 10 year old daughter would be charged an adult price due to her height. She is 4ft9inches and height wise was 1 of the smaller children in the group, yet our 13 year old 5ft 2 nephew was charged a child's price. This was quite obviously due to their build rather than their heights which was disgusting..!! After an argument, they told us she could eat for 12.99, She had Crispy seaweed, 4 spring rolls with rice with sauce, after being embarrassed she refused to eat any more..whist my niece and nephew were charged 8.99 and each had several full plates of food plus desserts. A member of staff then decided to open the fire door next to the table where we were sat..as cold as hell..for a female member of staff to come over and shout at our children for opening the door. It was a very horrible experience this time and has put us off returning again. My daughter didn't need to be shamed over her size and forced to pay any more than the other children.

It's a pleasant place. Clean all you can eat restaurant, decorated with a Eastern Chinese theme. Plenty of dishes available, with western food available too so even if someone in the group isn't into Chinese they can still find something. Plenty of starters, mains and desserts including ice cream, cake and fruit. The issue though is freshness. Its really questionable with some dishes. I tried a good selection from every area (start, main, pud). All of it tasted fine. Unfortunately, I was sick later on at home. Surprised my partner, as my stomach is usually sound. I'd probably go back for a party or something but otherwise I'll stick to a pub meal. If I go again I'll be weary. I will say drink prices are a complete rip off (three thirty for a diet pepsi). Also, Saturday evening prices are steep. Mon-Thurs are a little better but if you want good value go for the lunch buffet, served from noon till 3pm

Great food, ive been once a year or two back with my cousin and loved it. Came back for my birthday this year with the whole family and was still great. bit out of the way for us or we would go more often. Both times were on a sunday buffet was so nice and i am really fussy. been to many chinese like this and not enjoyed them. this one has one section of starters and some english like chicken nuggets, chips, chicken skewers, onion rings etc... then the main section has all different types of main meals, and let me tell you they dont hold back with the duck! massive tray of delicious duck with the wraps, trimmings and sauce. gorgeous. and even a small indian section with poppadoms. desert wise they have a few different flavoured ice creams, and a whippy ice cream machine with sprinkles and sauces. a section for fruit (and salad i forgot to mention because i was too busy filling my face with duck to even get salad) and mini cakes and jelly. SO NICE. and we are going back again this sunday. staff are very efficient and kind. only thing that lets them down are the toilets are so old and a bit gross... luckily i always carry hand sanitiser and used a lot of it. drinks are a touch high but what can you expect when you are getting all this food. and they give water free :) taking the toilets out of the equation, i...

It's a Chinese Buffet so I'm not going to suggest it is the highest quality dining experience, but my rating is justified for all things considered:

+We were shown to a table straight away.

+Waitress waited to take our drinks order.

+We were able to then just go straight up and keep going up until we'd had all we wanted.

+All hot food was hot and the despite what I said before, probably the "best quality Chinese Buffet food" I've had in a long while.

+Waiter/Waitress staff are typically prompt to remove finished plates, giving you space to get more and also not feel like you've pigged out too much.

+Price is pretty reasonable really. Prices discounted for children and infants.

-Some of the extra nice touches only come out when the more expensive seating plan takes effect.

-Sometimes I'd be happy to pop in for a quick bite to eat after shopping, but if it is within the hour before the price increase, they advise you will need to pay the extra because you'll cross over into the more expensive time. On at least one occasion, where we'd agreed to this, we were actually still all finished and on our way out at the hour struck (because we only wanted a quick bite to eat). I'd suggest they advise this could happen and let you get on with it, or move the price change forward an hour so it was...

Decided to try this Chinese buffet restaurant........what a mistake!!!! The restaurant itself is nice enough, clean, plenty of seating, but I think they concentrated too much on the look of the place over the quality of food and service. The ribs are tiny and were cold when I went. The soup is so watered down it was near impossible to get any flavour out if it. The sweet and sour chicken looked like it hadn't even seen a cooker, it was so light in colour......and again no flavour. In fact, it was difficult to say any of the food had any taste, it was all so bland. I have been to many Chinese buffet places and so many have less choice but so much better-quality food and are so much better value for money. This place is extremely expensive for the quality of the food. I think it's a restaurant that concentrates on quantity rather than quality. Oh, and this is also the only Chinese buffet place that doesn't have chopsticks if you want them, now I understand not everyone can eat with them or likes them but surely it should be an option in a Chinese restaurant!

I would seriously avoid this restaurant if you are looking for a nice meal out. I'll never return to this restaurant, and I will make sure no one I know...
