Pretty appalled really. I ordered cheesy Jalepeno bites and they sent me chicken instead... Im a vegetarian! I was not impressed, more so when i called to inform them- the girl on the phone sounded completely uninterested and did not apologise. i stressed that i was really unhappy and highlighted how bad that was because I was veggie and she then very lamely said sorry and half heartedly agreed to send some jalepeno bites out. After waiting a further 30 minutes for them and having finished my meal i called and spoke to a man who also seemed really uninterested and i told him i wanted a refund. he said they were already on their way out, to which i said i didnt care i wanted a refund as i was upset about their service and the fact the girl was so rude earlier. he didnt exactly pretend to care but agreed to refund me. Randomly 30 minutes later a delivery guy turns up on my door with some cash to refund me ( i had paid on my card!!) What makes the whole experience worse is the pizza was undercooked and soggy and the corn on the cob was disgusting ( no idea how you can make corn on the cob taste so dusgusting!?) and they didnt send any of the garlic butter sauce it normally comes with. Safe to say i wont be returning again. Very disappointed with both food...
Read moreI ordered 2 large pepperoni pizzas from Broadstone store on Sunday at 7:20pm. After 70 minutes when they were supposedly out for delivery the store called me to say they couldn’t deliver and would refund, I said I would come and collect new pizzas which they agreed to, however when I arrived at the store, they said they had no pepperoni and no large bases, by then it had been 90 minutes since I placed my order and it was clear they didn’t want to supply us with food so I went to Dominos who were able to supply the pizzas we wanted within 15 minutes. Papa Johns did refund, but no compensation was made for the poor service. Whilst we were in the store another person came in who had just had the same experience and had been waiting 90 minutes also, she was there to get a resolution too. Customer service is just as bad, they just said that a refund had been issued but still no offer of compensation for the dreadful service. I will never order...
Read moreNever ordering again. The last time we placed an order, which was several years ago, the delivery was so late and the staff were rude so we said ‘never again’. But we decided to give them another chance - what a mistake that was! The app’s tracker for a start, doesn’t work. So we called about 40mins after ordering to get an ETA and were told “5-6mins max”. 25 minutes later, we called again . Initially we were told they had tracked the driver and he was at traffic lights nearby so should be a matter of minutes. But when pushed for reassurance he then said his system was down. After being on hold for a few minutes he came back and said they didn’t even have our order! Despite the payment going through they said they couldn’t even cancel our order because the system was down so we now have to go through the laborious task of doing a chargeback on our credit card! Never ever again. Save yourself the hassle and just stick...
