Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in England

After a long day at work I ordered some 'feel good' food from this Papa John's in Rainham online. After 50 minutes of wait food has not turned up and I called them. They said the food is on its way.

After another 15 minutes still not here and I called again. The man on the other line started giving me lots of excuses and almost blaming me for leaving it so late to order food as I should have known that they are usually busy this time of the evening. In response I asked for a refund as the food is still not here after over an hour after ordering.

He refused and said its outside of his control and my only option is to do a chargeback through my card.

I now have done this and they have until March 2020 to resolve this. In the meantime they are hanging on to my money.

Definitely won't be using them again, rude, not customer orientated and...

Ordered a half and half cheese and mushroom and chicken and sweet corn pizza which was fine. I also ordered a vegan jackfruit pepperoni for my daughter who can’t have cheese. Shortly after giving her the pizza she had to run to the toilet as something upset her belly. I guessed it was the pizza as she had just finished eating it. The next day I warmed the pizza up in the air fryer to taste the rest of her pizza myself because I thought that was weird that she had to go toilet so soon after eating, I immediately started throwing up once I had finished eating it. We ordered at 9.03pm the tracker said the food come out of the oven at 9:26. We called at 10:05 saying "what's going on" and they said the delivery driver left 10 minutes ago. we called again at 10:25 and they said the delivery driver will be with you soon. At 10:45 I decided I wasn't going to accept this order as I work in a food establishment and declined the order. If I could give a 0 stars I would.
