Just got home from a fantastic evening here and had to write a review. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table upstairs. I was really happy that we had a window seat in the corner overlooking the view as I was hoping to be seated upstairs. Absolutely adored the vibe of the venue and commented on the unique lighting which is made of recycled bottles of alcohol. Presentation makes an atmosphere and I loved the set up and even the colour of the plates. Staff were really friendly and answered any queries regarding the food. They were clear with how tapas works as we had never been here before or to a tapas venue. I loved that the food came out when it was ready and got to sample lots of little dishes. I tried two different cocktails and have the say the presentation of the Summer Surprise was exotic. It certainly made me feel like I was on holiday in Spain, especially with Spanish music playing in the background and the added bonus of the sun shining through the window. I have purposely left reviewing the food to the end as I was blown away by the variety and flavours of the food. The olives and the octopus were my absolute favourites. I had not had octopus before and it was cooked to perfection. I have had many types of olives before, but whatever was on these ones made them the best olives I have ever tasted. I usually prefer pitted olives, but the taste of these far outweighed having to eat around the pit. I cannot wait to go back and try them again and with some different tapas. Between the two of us, we opted for 3 tapas each and we left happy, fat and full. Thank you so much. I am really happy that I've found another eatery that I love and will want to return to again and again.

We had the pleasure of dining at Casa Tapas recently and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, the service was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome and valued. The highlight of the meal had to be the whipped mackerel and the tempura fish of the day which was lemon sole - it was absolutely delicious, with flavors that danced on the palate. Every other dish we tried was also top-notch, each one perfectly prepared and presented. It's clear that Casa Tapas takes pride in their culinary creations, and it truly shows. This restaurant is well worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality tapas in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We went at 6pm on a Saturday and despite being fully booked, they managed to squeeze us (2 people) in. We opted for the dates wrapped in ham; hummus, pesto and bread; pan seared fish-of-the-day with chorizo and beans; gambas pil pil; and, baked aubergine. The food was delicious and I'd particularly recommend the dates and fish with chorizo and beans. The gambas was a little disappointing as it was a very small portion but they tasted nice. It was a little on the expensive side but overall, the food was very good quality and customer service was excellent. We would love to come back and try some of the other dishes!

EDITED AFTER STAFF INTERVENTION!!!

So, I forgive Casa Tapa for these misdemeanours. I was extremely hungry after a particularly hard day at the office. Am sure the staff here are welcoming and lovely and hopefully we get seated in a nice spot next time and get to experience their lovely looking food.

P S. It did smell nice 👍

After wanting to go to this place for a while, my partner and I went after work at about 7.30pm on a Monday. Unfortunately, no one was picking up the phone when we tried to ring to check if there were any tables but only a short walk from the house. On arrival one of the chefs told us to go upstairs to be seated. We went upstairs to be told by another member of staff that there's seating downstairs.. bear in mind, the restaurant was half full coming on to 8pm on a Monday.. we go back downstairs and are seated on a table by the toilet while there are free booths available. Quick decision to leave and go elsewhere. Maybe we'll come back but there's other places to eat in Falmouth that wouldn't be as unwelcoming....

We dined at Casa Tapa on a busy Saturday night in August. The restaurant was fully booked. Unfortunately our table was crammed into a corner on the main walk way to the toilet and upstairs access, it wasn’t comfortable but appreciated they were fully booked so could not move us. The table also wasn’t big enough for all our dishes and these were not cleared by the staff when we had finished them to make room for the next ones coming.

The staff were polite, but brief and clearly rushed off their feet. The bill came before we asked for it making us feel rushed to leave even though we were half an hour early.

The food was good, we had 7 dishes and it was all nicely cooked and presented. It was however noted that 6/7 of the dishes had the same garlic aioli sauce which got abit tedious and took away from the other flavours. The pigs cheek was absolutely beautifully cooked.

The cocktails were also very nice with a great...
