I’ve always ordered online via the app for this particular Pizza Hut and have never had a problem. Until last week! Last Saturday I went to order pizza online to find out that they could not accept online orders at that time, so I phoned to place my order. Took me several attempts of phoning before they even picked up the phone and then when they did I was greeted by a lady who sounded quite friendly. Which she was, but she wasn’t the brightest spark and that’s me being polite! It took 30 minutes to place an order over the phone because she didn’t know what she was doing and kept having to go and ask her manager for help. In this time, she got my order wrong twice, asked me if the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream I was asking for was and I quote ‘is that a pizza?’ She told me that Pepsi max comes with sugar tax, She got my card details wrong five times and told me that they don’t actually deliver to my area, when in fact I order from them most weekends! In the end I asked to speak to her manager for her to say that there is no manager on duty! She kept speaking to her manager!! Pizza then arrived, but no ice cream!! So I phone them again and it arrives another hour later!
Today we ordered online this time and and hour and a half had passed and still no pizza! So I phone them up only to be greeted by the exact same lady. She said they allow up to two hours for deliver, so I ready my order confirmation email to her with the time they specified and then I read her their online order speed guarantee! She then had to speak to her manager and then she told me to phone customer services! I asked her for her name so that I could make a complaint and she said ‘I think not’ and then hung up. Read moreWorst pizza and staff ever. Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had ordering any takeaway. This is actually the first negative review I’ve left online. I ordered 3 pizzas, 2 sides and a dessert for my sons 7th birthday, it cost £50 and we were so disappointed with the food then the customer service after was just as bad. The pizza was warm and soggy from being in the box too long and one of the pizzas was actually black all around the crust from being burned. I added a picture for you to see, as I'm sure anyone would agree, that pizza should not have got past quality control. When we got our food it was at the hour mark and we were so hungry and initially we were just going to eat it but after we had a bite each from our pizza we thought we’re going to phone up as it was just so bad. This was when I spoke to a member of staff who wasn’t very polite and she said “have you had any of your pizza” in a very condescending voice and I said yes just one bite and she was just really rude and said “well it’s our policy that we can’t do anything”. In the end it got very heated as she just kept saying over and over you’ve had some so there’s nothing we can do. I was so frustrated as I’m sure as anyone can understand we had one bite before we realised just how bad it was. The fact they wouldn’t do anything for the burned pizza was a joke and we hadn’t even eaten any of that one, we just took one slice off and put it on a plate as we were going to eat the other half as we were so hungry. Read moreYesterday evening we ordered a pizza using the online service at approximately 7:20pm. After an hour my wife rang to check the order was going to be delivered. The phone rang several times without being answered and when someone finally answered the individual was rude, talked over her saying lots of people were calling, they were very busy and claimed the order was on its way. We waited until after 10pm, no Pizza Hut delivery. Today my wife rang, got the so called manager, who was rude, first claimed there was no order and when that tactic failed because she actually paid and has a reference number, he tried to claim someone attempted delivery but we didn't answer the door so they took the pizza back and threw it away. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE BLATANT LIAR. Between the two of us we stood at the window for an hour and half. If they did attempt delivery it was after midnight. Instead of apologizing this jackass rudely told my wife she should just call customer services if she was unhappy (which she did and the person who answered, was the ONLY one who apologized). The service from that branch is disgusting, the manager has no clue about customer service and we will never use that branch again. I recommend you don't either.
