Terrible Experience at Swindon Greenbridge Pizza Hut – Disrespectful Service for preorder
We hosted a birthday party on December 21, 2024, for 12 children at Pizza Hut Swindon Greenbridge, with pre-booked food arrangements. Prior to the event, I received a call from the manager offering an option to switch the pre-booked buffet to on-the-go orders upon arrival, which I agreed to.
I arrived promptly at 4:30 PM and was greeted politely by an Indian waitress who kindly offered to carry our cake to the table. However, things quickly went downhill when I was approached by another staff member, Davina P. (name from the receipt), to check on our reserved table. She rudely informed me that only the children could be seated, not the accompanying five adults (5 adults - parents of the kids). When I suggested ordering for the adults as well, she still refused seating, claiming all seats were full, even though I noticed empty tables nearby. She was literally at denial & not pleasant & very rude. It was a big insult Infront my guests & other customer's.
I understand that seat reservations may not be available for adults, but I was ordering pizza just like any other customer dining in without a prior booking. Eventually, I ordered two pizzas for the adults through the Indian waitress, who was more helpful.
After insisting that at least the children be seated while the adults stood, she begrudgingly allowed it. However, the food for the kids, which had been pre-ordered, did not arrive even after 45 minutes. Other customers were being served during this time, and despite follow-ups, there was no progress.
By 5:15 PM, the reserved tables she claimed were for a 5:00 PM guest were still vacant, yet we were denied seating after asking 3rd time to help us sit. When I asked again about the kids’ order, Davina said the order hadn’t been placed, despite holding the printed pre-order details in her hand. I then asked to double the adult pizza orders then she finally placed order by that time we are 1hr delayed. After clarifying the situation (and reminding her about prior communication with the manager), the food finally started coming out at 6pm, but with significant delays.
Throughout this ordeal, the adults accompanying the party stood the entire time till 6:30pm, while the empty tables nearby remained unoccupied. The event wrapped up, with all of us feeling disrespected and frustrated.
We spent £210 for this appalling experience. The rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff, particularly Davina, reflects poorly on Pizza Hut’s customer service standards. I will never host another event here, nor recommend it to anyone. This experience has tarnished my perception of Pizza Hut, and I sincerely hope management takes action to ensure no other customer endures...

By this I mean, we ordered a pizza and she said (your worker) that we can have "one bowl of salad" word to word. So there were 3 of us and what we expected is us going to get "one bowl of salad" just like she said and also because oviously we were gonna share a 6 sliced pizza. i dont get why, soon after another man comes along ( worker) and told us, we could'nt do that! (share a pizza). I dont get the reason why?, its not like we were going to go take the salad again and again! IT WAS JUST ONES and that to they were being nosy about what their customors did, rather then doing their work. Fair enough if the 3 of us went again and again to eat more of salad,then they had all the right to tell us that but, if one was to waste that food why could'nt the other two eat the food which one person could not eat all by them self? Why did the workers interfere while us eatting? But instead you lot decided to be racist and actally tell us that we have to pay extra for another 2 bowls of salad or a larger pizza, and yes im calling the pizza hut workers racist because ive seen many people do the same thing.(getting one bowl and sharing out the food with many more people) THIS service really discusted me! Read moreUnfortunately we had a terrible experience yesterday.. we had a table booked for 3.30 for 4 adults and 5 children for a 4 years olds birthday. We were told before hand we needed to pre book which we did. When we arrived we were told that they could not light the candles as they don’t keep lighters in the premises.. we were then taken to our table. We waited 20 minutes no one came over so we found a waitress and asked for the glasses to use at the refill machine. Also asked for colouring for the kids as this was not given. 30minutes after the food arrived which was ok, waited about another 30 after we had ate we had to ask for table to be cleared and then again had to ask for the bowls for the kids ice cream, We had puddings pre ordered again we had to ask for.. Not one person came over to the table the entire time, Eventually we asked to speak to the manager, asked for the adult puddings which took another 20 minutes and by that point we had been sat for 2 hours and needed to leave as we had plans for 6pm he dealt with it fairly well and told us he had only just got in and didn’t realise the situation, the restaurant looked to be half full with lots of empty tables would understand better if the place was rammed but it really wasn’t, really needed some one with a bit of experience to come in and take control, not a personal attack on the staff as I think there was only 2.
