Pizza Hut — Restaurant in England

I used to really rate pizza hut at one time -always delicious, hot and super fast delivery. Not so anymore. Very slow and received cold tasteless pizzas too often. The quality control is shocking. McDonald's may not be to everyone's tastes but at least you know what you're getting..a cheeseburger in London tastes the same as one bought in Harrogate. With pizza hut it is now like Russian roulette ... sometimes they're ok, sometimes shocking. Unfortunately that's not good enough when people are spending hard earned cash and have plenty of other trust worthy choices. I asked about pizza huts delivery guarantee (over 40 min delivery - credit of £10 applied to account) I was fobbed off completely. I was asked to sign up to some online forum where they said it would be addressed... again this forum was as flakey as they're current quality control. First time ordering online from this shop. Ordered a medium pizza, chicken strips and cookie dough at 5.25pm - estimated del was 30-40 mins (which means that according to Pizza Huts delivery promise my next order should discounted or free). Called the shop at 18.21 as no sign of order. I was told the order had just gone out for delivery - it arrived 25 minutes later (1 hr 20 mins after placing order and receiving confirmation of it being prepped via email) Everything was cold - delivery driver advised me to call shop and speak to the manager as he was a 'good guy and would send out a fresh order'. Called but was told manager was too busy and he would call back in 3 mins. The return call was never received. Shocking service and cold food. Absolutely shocking service by what I believe was the supervisor there. I had to call to chase my order after an hour of waiting. They had no idea where it had gone, the girl who dealt with my complaint was lovely and offered a free pizza next time I called and advised she’d “put it on the system”. I called up to claim said free pizza and was passed onto a man with a foreign accent who went on to interrogate me quite aggressively and suggest I was lying as there wasn’t any evidence of my free pizza in their diary...
