Absolutely shocking costumer services! A group of us (from a local business) placed an order for lunchtime meal deals. Over the phone, we were not told that gluten free pizzas do not qualify for a meal deal. When one of us went to collect they were surprised that gluten free weren't included as it does not state this anywhere on the menu or in the terms and conditions. They paid £11.99 for the pizza 'meal deal' because it was a gluten free one (not £3.99). I rang up the manager to speak to him about this and stated that it does not state this clearly on the menu or in the terms and conditions and that we were not told when ordering. He was extremely rude to me. Yes, it is clearly a flaw with the pizza hut menu and it discriminates against anyone with a food allergy as I can go into the co-op and buy a meal deal lunch and pay the same price as anyone else. However, instead of the manager apologising for this on behalf of his establishment he was very rude and tried to argue with me. It was not clearly stated anywhere on the menu or in the terms and conditions. In their case, the costumer isn't always right. I have sent my complaint to pizza hut head office and my concerns over their policy when it comes to gluten free options. I appreciate that it is the fault of the Pizza Hut brand. However, this take away didn't inform us when ordering and then didn't apologise for the confusion... Instead the manager...
Read moreI try not to leave negative reviews often but the way I was treated when addressing an issue has left me feeling disappointed.
Context: I ordered 2x plant based veggie supremes. They’ve got this wrong in the past a few times so I showed the lady the item on the mobile app to make sure she understands it’s the plant based one. Got home realised regular cheese was on there so I returned with both pizzas fully in tact and tried to address the issue amicably. No fuss, mistakes happen and I’m not trying to embarrass anyone I just want pizzas that suit my dietary requirements.
The Lady was so rude putting all the blame on me even though I showed her the item on the menu when I ordered. It’s not my fault she didn’t look properly, there’s a reason I showed her and didn’t just say.
And when that same rude person makes your replacements it does make you feel uneasy. I didn’t enjoy these pizzas at all because of this situation.
Won’t be ordering from this branch anymore. It’s a shame because when they get it right the pizzas are delicious. But I don’t like the way this was handled. Didn’t get an apology (Not that I needed one but it’s the principle).

Wouldn’t have been too fussed but our food was cold, we ordered a half and half pizza they mixed the toppings up when they were simple, we called asked for another because we just couldn’t eat that cold food. Took them half an hour to make a new delivery which was an improvement for having taken an hour an 40 mins for the first time, they took our old pizza and sides back. It was at least hot this time and the right toppings but they put too many toppings this time the red onions were piled on as thick as the pizza itself and was raw, the garlic bread was barely warm and so dry.
