The gardens are fantastic to explore with kids as they're able to run free and it feels like magic to them. The coffee shop is great and the cakes were delicious. The gift shop had a great range which meant that we could get all children a small holiday present that wasn't utter tat! Our normal routine when holidaying on the Isle of Wight is to visit the Botanical Garden Café every day for our morning coffee. The food and drink here is top quality and well presented. The staff are friendly, efficient and really quite amazing. Sadly, at peak times, they could do with some help. They work like dogs, but need more staff to clear tables, sweep floors and wash up. Most of the places we've been to eat on the Isle of Wight have very limited, and often unimaginative, vegetarian options. Not here! A good range of dishes to choose from, all freshly prepared.
