Fantastic tapas restaurant. Authentic tapas dishes served in the traditional way, all bursting with flavour using the freshest of ingredients. We tried everything on the menu on our visit (minus the sourdough) - worth every penny as every dish was excellent. The customer service was excellent from Jonny and the young lady working on front of house. Wide variety of beer, wine and cocktails on offer which were all of superior quality - we really enjoyed the white sangria! Would highly recommend booking in advance as the restaurant is quite small and very popular. Plenty of parking in the town of Wadebridge, with a 5 minute walk to the restaurant. We have no constructive criticism to give, the food and service was A* - highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of food. (Pictured - Sea bass crudo, padron peppers, deep fried oysters, white sangria, menu on the day)

Absolutely LOVE Plonk’d - we’ve been here a few times and every time we go we are blown away by the varied choice of wines by the glass, unusual and interesting wines on the shelf which you can drink in, and absolutely delicious cocktails using home made ingredients and syrups - these always change with the season too so you know that the best local ingredients are being used!! Jonny and Jess will always find the perfect wine to recommend for you, and there’s always something fun to taste if you’re looking to try something new or out of your usual comfort zone. The food is delicious, and I love how you can just go for a small nibble or stay longer and eat enough small plates to feel like you’ve had a full dinner. The service is bang on every time, we will always keep coming back 😃 (especially in summer when you can cycle there on the camel trail from Padstow!!)

I recently visited Plonk’d and it was just as amazing as I had heard. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the experience was 10/10. The food, the atmosphere, the service, so good I had to go back the next night when I found out they had live music playing, this made for a relaxing lunch, and a buzzy, fun dinner. The space is very clean and comfortable, and lot of thought and knowledge has gone in to the menu following Jess and Jonny’s travels. They have perfected it all. I couldn’t resist having one of everything from the small plates menu and nothing disappointed. The cocktail menu is also fab, I tried both the Pineapple & Rum Sour and Watermelon & Chilli Cooler and these were some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had - and I’ve had a lot! I left feeling full, and at a very reasonable price too. This place is a hidden gem, not to be missed!

A wonderful neighbourhood spot in the centre of Wadebridge with an excellent wine list alongside beautifully prepared cocktails - both classics and innovative specials. Even the non-alcoholic options are excellent and hosts Jonny and Jess are delighted to accommodate - they always find something special and fun for our kids. This thought and care flows through the team with the delightful Isobel on the bar and local legend chef Ripley in the kitchen.

The food is the perfect accompaniment to the drinks - a mix of pintxos / tapas classics and boundary pushing dishes which highlight the best seasonal ingredients. There is always something new to try, as well as a few things we order every time including the,now legendary, cheesecake.

At the weekend, we dropped in for the inaugural Sunday roast, which we hope will become a regular feature - homely and delicious dishes in a cosseting setting. The music was particularly good this weekend and as the sun set over the rooftops, you could feel the pace slow down as if transported to somewhere warmer.

This is a magical spot - essential for locals and a treat...

We visited Plonk’d in Wadebridge for Mother’s Day and had a fantastic meal that totally exceeded expectations. It’s a tiny little spot, but so thoughtfully designed—intimate without feeling cramped, and full of character.

We ended up trying almost every dish on the menu (easy to do when everything sounds that good), and the quality across the board was excellent. A few dishes really stood out: the pork cheek was incredibly tender and full of deep, rich flavour; the scallop was beautifully fresh and perfectly cooked. And the Basque cheesecake—baked in the traditional style with a dark top and silky centre—was a quiet showstopper. Just the right balance of creaminess and caramelised depth.

The wine list deserves a mention too—seriously well chosen and impressively good. For the standard of food and drink, the pricing felt more than fair, making it great value for money.

All in all, Plonk’d is a little gem. We’re already looking forward...

Cannot recommend Plonk'd highly enough; it is my absolute favourite spot and every time I go I have the best time. The staff are phenomenal, so knowledgeable and have so much passion in what they do. The care they have for providing the best cocktails and pinxtos is second to none, the ingredients sourced or created by themselves succeed anything you'll find anywhere else. Their set cocktail menu is divine, and there's always something new to try every time I go (which is quite frequently!) I've been to three wine tasting events and have learnt so much; I used to drink wine for the percentage but thankfully Plonk'd have changed my ways and given me a deep appreciation for where, how and why different wines are created; making drinking them a lot more enjoyable. If you're nearby or can get yourself there, do it!!! You will not be disappointed. Big love to you...
