Have not been for a while due to previous poor service despite being weekly regulars.

Like the repaint- looks brighter and I decided everyone deserves a 2nd chance.

Used overflow car park and entered through the nearest door at the back to receive an unnecessarily sharp bollocking for using a staff entrance. Sorry but we did not notice signage.

Because the barstaff was needlessly nasty, I would have walked, but my companion wanted and deserved a drink.

To be fair from the inside, the door is marked private. Si, we left through the front.

This snug pub is well stocked with a range of drinks and snacks and in a great location with more businesses arriving in the area all the time. It looked clean and tidy and has a dartboard.

I wish you (and all pubs) well in these difficult times, but was again disappointed in the Plume with staff showing an appalling attitude to the customer experience. Hope it made her happy! The visit left me irritated as...

Didn't stay here overnight, we just pulled in for a meal whilst charging the EV. Staff were very welcoming, even the locals joined in with banter which was great. The meals arrived within around 20 minutes of ordering & even though the 4 of us had selected different fayre, all meals were top notch. Hot, tasty & plenty of it all at what we would say was very reasonably priced. Staff were attentative too. Can't fault this place at all. Well worth a visit, especially as it has E.V. rapid charging should you drive such a thing & just a few metres off the A30 should you be passing by in (or on) any other kind of...

Wow! Just stumbled across this little place for a spot of lunch. They have had a new chef in the last couple of weeks and everything is now homemade on site. All the ingredients are sourced from local suppliers. I had homemade lasagne and my husband had a homemade burger with "proper" chips. Absolutely delicious 😋. The service was amazing, very welcoming and friendly. They have now started to serve Sunday lunch. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will undoubtedly...
