We live locally so often call in to the Poppy Tea Rooms for refreshments. The volunteer staff are very friendly and the prices very reasonable. Its ideal whatever weather - you can sit outside when its sunny or in one of the cosey wood cabins if its inclement. They also has a good range of used books, DVDs and CDs for sale if you are into that sort of thing. The toilet facilities are also very good. Afternoon tea poor , not even a full 2 slice sandwich each , a half size cheese and fruit scone , a tiny china cup with some crisps in between 3 of us and around 3 miniature frozen cakes.
