Pub Shrewsbury Harry Hotspur — Restaurant in England

This pub has a lot to offer, including free parking and a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. I've visited several times and really enjoy the atmosphere. The staff are always welcoming, which makes each visit pleasant.

However, the pub is in need of some updates. Some of the seating and toilets could use repair and refurbishment. While the pub is clean and tidy, it does have a run-down appearance that could be improved with some investment.

We visit the Hotspur about once a month. It is a large traditional pub with sports screens and a pool table. I believe there is a beer garden but have never used it. Check before your visit if this is your main requirement. There is plenty of parking and special events can be catered. Our reason for visiting is the Chinese menu. We always enjoy the food. Unfortunately the staff weren't very welcoming, the layout of it quite pleasant. My two worst complaints are the food menu on the bar isn't very clear, when I ordered our food at the price from the menu the cost on the receipt was about 20% more, when I queried this the young lady said that the prices on the menu were take out prices.
