Since our first visit to Radhuni, when I gave it 5 stars, we have recently visited again but it has gone down in our rating. They have extended the restaurant by purchasing properties next door, and although we were not seated in this 'lounge' it did look very nice from our perspective. We were seated in the original restaurant room and the table we were given was so squashed in and close to the tables next to us we felt like we were dining with our neighbours. This doesn't make sense when the restaurant has been extended.

The waiting staff were nice but weren't very friendly, didn't make you feel at ease and on 2 occasions they stood next to our table waiting to remove our plates whilst we were still eating.

The soft drink that i ordered mainly consisted of ice and so was finished before i had finished the first course, therefore, the second drink i ordered i requested no ice and got a lot more drink for my money.

It feels like the owners are being greedy what with the lack of drink given and cramming diners in.

First visit to this Indian restaurant. Was surprised to see what looked like the original beams inside (as I think it is an old building), this was incorporated with very tasteful Asian decor. The restaurant was very clean and the staff very attentive and friendly. The food we ordered was delicious, meat very tender (my lamb practically melted in the mouth) and both my husband and I said this the best Indian food we had ever eaten. Will definitely...

Food was well prepared, presented and very tasty. On that basis I can't fault the restaurant. However the service is severely lacking, and there is a clear emphasis on turning over tables quickly. As a result, I didn't feel especially valued as a customer, and my experience was below par. My partner invited me to eat with her and admitted the service was poor compared to her previous experience.

Specific instances of service below expectations: Booked for 7:30pm, was guided to a lounge area where we waited 20 minutes for a table. We were offered drinks menus in the lounge area but after 10 I had to ask to be served. The table we sat at was only accessible from one side necessitating squeezing behind or displacing a seated person. Many tables on the concourse past the kitchen are like this.

Once ready to order we closed the menus and were attended to - as I opened menu to order the waiter immediately said he would come back and proceeded back to the service area before returning a few minutes later.

Plates are cleared rapidly, drinks are offered liberally, and the front of the menu emphasises various expensive drinking options. Each page of the menu in light font emphasises the time allocated to different party sizes. The impression overall is one of a rushed experience.

Delicious food, but not at all relaxing. I would consider other dining options if being able to speak to each other without raising a voice...

Despite booking well in advance for a Friday night at 7.45, on the day we receive a call to say they’ve just taken a booking for before ours and they need to push our table back to 8pm. Although annoying, we accepted this and moved on. 20 minutes later, we get another call saying they needed to push it back again to 8.15, which we weren’t happy about and said we still wanted it to be 8pm and it was their fault for taking a last minute booking that they couldn’t accommodate without moving people.

We arrive just before 8.15 to hear the table still isn’t ready. They offer us a seat in their “lounge”, which was already full and made a group of 9 people dotted around the corridor and standing up. We weren’t offered drinks in their “lounge” until one of us said we would want one 25 minutes later.

We finally managed to get to our table around 8.50/8.55. Over an hour after we had initially booked for.

Once we got to the table, the service seemed a bit lacklustre like we were forgotten about as we were causing problems for them (despite them being the ones to cause the timing issues).

Somewhere previously respected very highly by the entire group, after this happening and it happening to another member of the group a few months ago, things would have to change a lot for...
