4 years ago - This is my favourite place to go for a cheeky treat! I live 30 minutes away however I will totally drive to eat here. I even take friends as a treat! It's totally worth the trek. The crepes are amazing! I vote for the rocky road.. I'm salivating just writing this! My husband opts for the chilli crepe followed by whichever pudding crepe takes his fancy! I really must remember to take photos but I'm always too excited to stuff my face and forget to take one! The staff always so friendly and welcoming and there's a calming atmosphere to the place that makes you want to stay and chat all day! Definitely the place to go if you want something yummy in somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere!
Today - I've been back here again today! I travelled to see some friends and it was the perfect excuse for a visit. Absolutely lovely food as always. Absolutely spotless! Comfortable relaxed atmosphere. I know there are some reviews on here about being ignored at the table - you have to go to the till to order. Also due to the small kitchen there can be a bit of a wait when it's busy but they do tell you this when ordering. It's totally worth the wait though! As for people saying it's expensive I wouldn't say it is but maybe that's because I've eaten in more expensive places in the area that aren't as good as this little gem 🤷🏼♀️
I will say it is quite small so although it has wheelchair access and a disabled toilet if it was busy it would be a little tight. You also can't reserve a table so there can be a wait for a table if it's busy. There is plenty of options on the menu both waffles, crepes and toasties. There's also a children's menu. If you've not been to Princes Risborough before I would suggest parking in the mount car park round the park which was only £1.30 for 3 hours!!!
Last point to note - the milkshakes are...
Read moreThis is a great little place and a gem of a restaurant.
I used it for a meeting and arrived early. There was wifi provided and the speed is more than efficient for what I required.
I occupied a table that was large enough for me to spread out as it was quiet when I arrived.
I ordered a drink and cake. It was very tasty and the service is excellent.
By the time that my appointment started the venue was pretty full. We ordered a breakfast crepe each. It was delicious. There is absolutely no fault there.
The reason why 4 stars and not 5 is simple. It gets extremely noisy as it fills up and becomes busy.
For someone with hard of hearing issues, this is problematic. The venue can do nothing about this, I realise this, but, my advice is to book meetings when it is quieter due to the noise factor.
Apart from this, the staff are great and the food is more than adequate.
I highly recommend...
Read moreI recently visited a restaurant that I have frequented in the past, and have always had a good experience with their service. However, on this particular occasion, I witnessed a member of their staff being rude to a group of customers.
It was disappointing to see, as the restaurant has always prided itself on their friendly and accommodating service. The staff member in question appeared to be having a bad day, and unfortunately, it reflected in their behavior towards the customers.
Overall, I still believe this restaurant to be a good choice for those looking for a pleasant dining experience, but I hope that the management takes note of this incident and works to ensure that their staff maintains a high level of professionalism and respect towards...
