Visited Raj Tandoori when we were in Windsor for the HiFi show. We had not booked and it was obvious once you walked in they were very busy. They did accommodate us and even through they were busy, service food and drinks were all great. I had the Lamb Naga and it was spicy and hot, as is intended not for the light hearted as it does have a serious kick, perfect for people with hot pallete and a love for spiciness, I enjoyed it. My friend had a Chicken Tikka main and it was well marinated and cooked very tenderly. Sides of rice and dall also served in appropriate portions, hot and flavoursome. Overall a great place to visit and recommended by me.

This is the best traditional Indian restaurant that I've ever eaten in. The tandoor chef cooks the most amazing tandoori chicken starter. So tender, succulent and tasty. The naan bread was fantastic as well. The lamb dhansak was perfect. Hot, spicy, sweet with perfectly cooked lentil and the lamb was incredibly tender. The bhindi bhaji was fried in caramelised onion and garlic. The sweetness perfectly balancing the sharp okra. All washed down with Indian beer. Absolute heavenly food and I can't wait to go back.

Recently moved into the area and thought I’d give it a try for a take away. I ordered some chana masala; a basic staple curry for any Indian restaurant (Bangladeshi restaurant as is the case here). It was the most blandest and awfully made dish I’ve ever had. So much so, I had to discard it. Not sure how the chef had cooked it, but it was what can only be described as watery, as if it had been diluted. No depth in flavour, no true curry gravy you’d expect. I can only assume the chef had failed to do a ‘tadka’ when cooking the spices and instead, threw all the ingredients in, including the water from the can of chick peas and let it simmer. This isn’t how you cook real Indian food! Never will I waste my money at this restaurant again. Also just read on the local news of their 1 star food hygiene rating by...

An amazing experience from start to finish. We booked as our son and his friend graduated today, we booked online saying was a graduation celebration, received confirmation email later in the day. We were runing late so called to let them know and was no problem. When we arrived at the restaurant the table had been decorated with confetti and baloon. The service was amazing, the food was so lovely and when we left the graduate was given beer, sweets and the ballon to take. We will definitely be back. If we could give more stars we would. No pushy service charge which most places add now. Thank you for ending the graduation...
