Sandpipers — Restaurant in England

Popped in here for a coffee/tea as it was dog friendly & we have 2 dogs. We sat facing the counter. I had salted caramel shortbread and my husband had the Guinness cake with tea and a latte. The shortbread was a bit dry and I couldn't taste the salt. The Guinness cake was lovely. So moist and tasty. The teapot had a good 2 cups in it and the latte was great. The servers were miserable and they had a couldn't be bothered attitude. They were teenagers and lacked any attention to detail and did not make you feel welcome. I would try it again but perhaps...

Whilst on our bike ride in we paid a visit to the Sandpiper cafe in Arnside . Our Cappuccino & Americano was the best ever for presentation & taste.

Just popped in for a hot drink and was delighted to see they had a vegan cake on offer (strawberry shortcake - delicious!), didn't eat a proper meal but will be back as they had several vegan meals on the menu.
