Shahins Indian restaurant — Restaurant in England

Um... not sure what to say really, where do i start lol. I had read alot of good reviews about this place so we decided to give it a go, unfortunatley it was really disappointing. My naan bread was literally a pancake! i wish i had took a picture of it, just awful! It wasnt seasoned or anything. Rank. Totally taking the mick! I fed that to the dog and even she wouldnt eat it 😂🙈. Then moving on to our chicken satay starter which was a liquid mess there was far far too much tahini in it, not at all palatable, the chicken went to the dog also 😂. There was hardly any sauce in the dish which made the chicken quite dry and to make the rice on main dish ratio right i used half my rice to the whole main, cant say i have ever needed to do that before but hey ho everyone needs a challenge in their life😂 They did however somewhat redeem themselves with the spiced lamb wrap that was really tasty. Unwelcoming and overpriced” We came as a family looking for halal food, but we were treated very poorly from the start. Before we even entered, a staff member came to the door and rudely asked “How can I help you?” in a way that made us feel unwanted, instead of welcoming us inside.

Last time we tried the chicken curry, it was very sugary and disappointing. This time, two portions cost £19 each, which is overpriced for the quality.

We left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. We do not recommend this restaurant at all When we ordered, they did not even give us a menu. Instead, the staff just told us the price directly, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. We were not treated like valued...

Visited on Wednesday night. We were the only people in the restaurant. Varied and different menu. The food was good. Service. Disappointing. Had to ask to be served. Friend asked for a slim line tonic. She was told that she had had the last one and would now have to have soda water, not even an ordinary tonic. There is a Tesco express 1 minutes walk away, an establishment wishing for repeat custom would have sent one of the employees engaged with their phones to buy the mixer.
