When I first stepped into the world of Shallikabooky I thought I entered some post apocalyptic scene from the Last of Us, or Fallout. Dishevelled buildings surrounding an unkempt courtyard of distressed furniture with a small serving hatch showing the glimpses of life. I held little hope. What I got however, was friendly, relaxed service. A fantastically GOOD coffee, (seriously, cracking!) and a very generous and tasty piece of Flapjack. All at very reasonable prices. It was so good we went back two days later and had a bite of lunch, paninis this time. Great variety on offer to suit most palettes. Some old, some new but all of it just left where it landed. And to be asked to pay 50p per adult and 10p per child for the privilege of sitting there is just an insult. Our recommendation for visitors would be to bring your own food and eat on the...
