Walked all the way down the beach from the adjacent Pendower beach (where we'd parked in the NT car park).
A nice, long, walk - and very quiet, clean beach with a few rocks/ pools at the far end.
Limited facilities but accessed by the south West Coast Path which we used to walk back along the cliffs to the car park.
One slight issue with the local council.... If you're encouraging dog owners to use the beach (and pay for parking) then any chance you could stick a bin on either beach and / or by the car park so that dog owners can dispose of their poo bags ! (Spotted loads of full poo bags just left on the rocks etc. Appreciate you can't legislate for the lazy, thoughtless buggers who leave them there and don't dispose of them properly but it might give them one...

Great coastline, I would however consider avoiding this beach if you are not a confident driver as the approach to the beach is narrow roads (single track), high hedges and a steep decent to the car park. Parking is cheap and can be done through an app or cash. The car park is spacious. We found the immediate entrance to the beach got quite busy but if you are willing to walk 5 minutes either way the beach becomes alot quieter and you basically have your own slice of cornish heaven. The water was crystal clear but had quite alot of jelly fish. If you are wanting to go swimming I would suggest a wet suit to avoid potential stings. The best beach we found on this trip, will...
Read moreIt's lovely, completely unspoiled, a fine sandy beach (at low tide anyway). Two car parks, one free but very small, one set back from the road, at the time to visiting £4 for the day. That once is a fair size.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that do not attempt this if you a problem with narrow single track roads. I don't, but many do, and it's somewhat irksome. Many seem incapable of reversing. If you can't do that, reverse to a passing place, don't...
