Shangri-la — Restaurant in England

We visited Shangri-la in Blyth for the first time last night, we had a party of 5. The booking process online was straightforward and had a lovely round table in a booth. The staff were very welcoming on our arrival and the drinks order was taken quickly. On reading the menu we realised that in addition to the main menu they also did a set menu on a Thursday, 4 courses for £18.50 so we all opted for this. The food was amazing it's been a long time since I've said that about a restaurant and we will definitely be returning. The decor was beautiful and you can tell they have taken a lot of pride in it, the seats were very comfortable and the restaurant had a lovely ambience. Absolutely lovely place from the Deco to the service to the food, went for a family gathering and service was on point not rushed at all and later on we were given a free shot of alcohol and talked with one of the investors in this closely run company where they have a few restaurants ,found out a bit history of the place and the story of the beautiful installation of the cherry trees which are stunning! aswell as the light up hanging butterflies which gives the place a very warm and cosy asthetic coupled with a modern twist , food was amazing in taste, quality and presentation and portions were just right, if you want good vibes , good quality food and good service this is 100% the place to visit in Blyth , just can not recommend this place enough and I for sure...

4 Man walk in at 9.15 pm. Pleasant greeting from Fazz asked if we could wait while he prepped a table, 5 mins later we are being seated at a good sized table for 4 blokes. Ordered drinks which arrived quickly and handed menus. Plenty of time to look over menus and subsequently ordered staters and main course. Poppadoms and pickles arrived sampled the roasted and spicy along with the normal all very nice. Asked if we were ready for mains and they duly arrived and we tucked in.
