If there’s one place in Darlington where I’d happily risk turning into a pizza, it’s Sliceburg. Seriously, folks, if you haven’t tried this place yet, what are you waiting for? The Second Coming?
First off, let’s talk about the price. I’m convinced Sliceburg is actually a front for some kind of charitable organization because the value for money is insane. I’ve had more expensive sandwiches that taste like cardboard and sadness. At Sliceburg, for just a few quid, you get a pizza that’s practically a work of art—if Michelangelo decided to swap his chisels for a pizza oven. And don’t get me started on the portion sizes! It’s like they’re daring you to find the bottom of the box.
Now, speed. Oh boy, these guys must be practicing for some kind of culinary Olympics because the service is lightning-fast. I barely had time to check my phone notifications before my order was ready. I mean, who needs instant noodles when you have instant pizza? It’s almost like they know what you want before you do. Psychic pizza chefs? Maybe. All I know is I walked in hungry and walked out with a steaming box of deliciousness in record time.
And the taste? Let me tell you, Sliceburg’s pizzas are so good they make other pizzas cry in shame. The crust is the perfect blend of crispy and chewy, the sauce tastes like it’s been kissed by Italian grandmothers, and the cheese... oh, the cheese! It’s the kind of melty, gooey goodness that haunts your dreams and makes you want to write sonnets.
Every bite is a symphony of flavors that could bring about world peace if we just fed enough people. I tried their Margherita, and let me tell you, if I could legally marry a pizza, this would be the one.
In conclusion, if you’re in Darlington and you’re not eating at Sliceburg, you’re doing life wrong. It's delicious, it's affordable, and it's fast. What more could you want? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go work off the pizza baby I’ve acquired.
Sliceburg, you’ve stolen a pizza...

Order should have been readu between 19:06 - 19:11. I turned up before 19:00 and it was sitting waiting to be collected. No wonder the wet food had destroyed the buns !
Doube pattie burger ? I only drove less than a mile hone and the bun had disintigrated aready so I'd hardly call it a burger. OK, the meat was actually quite nice but nothing to wrap it in.
Sticky BBQ chicken burger. Again the bun had vanished but also the chicken was mius topping as it had broken away.
Buffalo Blasters chicken tenders were inedible. Apart from the coating being wet which made it impossible to pick up the flavours were so strong that it was unpleasant.
Skin on fries - might have been ok had they not been oversalted.
All in all a load of rubbish and to be avoided.
For the record, I am a regular curry eater and love spicy and hot food. These flavours wetre just ridiculously over the top and unpleasant. I know this place is popular with the young and the buns may be better if you eat in and quickly before they go to mush.
You live and learn as they say. I'd sooner spend £4.50 in Godfathers next door and get a burger, chips and a bucket load of awesome coleslaw. I know now.
Hmmmmm, well the response i just got over a week later from this place says it all. Arrogant possibly but definately ignorant and not customer faced at all. Offered a 20% discount on my next order ? Thats not what my review is about. You should be rectifying issues and working with customers to better your product and service not make a flakey offer on a meal that wasnt eddible. It should have been refunded if anything but as you may notice I wasnt seeking anything. I was highlighting what a load of rubbish my experience of your food was. All your response has done is given your service and atmosphere rating a demotion to equal the quality of your food. Good Luck, i think you will need it, along with some education in manners and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Sliceburg, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for a memorable experience.
Let's talk about the food – where do I even begin? The Detroit style pizza stole the show with its perfectly crisp yet fluffy crust, tangy tomato sauce, and generous toppings that burst with flavor in every bite. It's a must-try for anyone visiting Sliceburg.
But wait, there's more! The smash burgers were a revelation – juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Each bite was a symphony of textures and tastes that left me craving for more. And let's not forget about the loaded fries – an indulgent treat that's perfect for sharing (or not!).
Beyond the food, the ambiance at Sliceburg is cozy and inviting, making it the ideal spot to unwind with friends or family. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and passionate about delivering top-notch service.
In conclusion, Sliceburg is a culinary gem that deserves all the praise it receives. Whether you're a pizza enthusiast, burger aficionado, or just someone looking for a great meal, Sliceburg has something for everyone. Do yourself a favour and pay them a visit – your taste buds will...
